This show has had cheesy music and sound effects since the first season. Not that I'm complaining; it's part of the show's nature. But really, all of these things have been happening consistently since Cook Islands, and many of them started long before that. If you hate them so much, then why the fuck are you still watching?

The cheesy music prior to CI was exciting and epic. The motifs were clever and well orchestrated. They emphazised characterization and adventure. The music nowadays emphasizes the HII.

If you hate them so much, then why stick with the show? Like it or not, they probably aren't going away.

I agree with Hatch on all of the above (except cancelling the show, that is). The reason I'm still watching is partly out of hope that the show will return to its former state and partly because the rest of TV is far worse than this.
