He had listened to all of that, and he wanted out of the military, and they would not let him leave even after he offered to repay" for his medical training. Wah wah. Sounds like someone wanted some special treatment. He knew that he was required by law to serve in the military for at least 7 years after graduation.

Fort Hood, Texas (CNN) -- A civilian police officer who shot the Fort Hood gunman four times during his bloody rampage stopped the attacker cold, a U.S. Army official said Friday. Officer Kimberly Munley of the Fort Hood Police Department is a "trained, active first responder" who acted quickly after she "just happened to encounter the gunman," said Lt. Gen. Robert Cone, Fort Hood's commanding general. Cone said the officer and her partner responded "very quickly" to the scene of the shootings -- reportedly in around three minutes. Munley "just happened very fortunately to be very close to the incident scene," Cone told CNN's "American Morning." He said she shot the gunman four times and was wounded herself in an exchange of gunfire with him.

Are you seriously proposing that people of a certain religion not be permitted to join the military or remain in it? That's fucking retarded. And they didn't know he was possibly fucked in the head until recently. I had a friend in NYC that was a Muslim woman. She joined the Army after 9/11 like so many did, outraged about what happened to our country. Her family didn't approve of the military in general, but they loved her and they didn't encourage her to go jihad on America. Persecuting people of a certain religion and assuming they all behave the same, especially an American born citizen, is plain wrong.

Now before you slip a gear about not all of the members of this religion are bad, I will allow that 75% of them are good, moral, upstanding citizens. But this guy was slipping through cracks years ago, he was known already to some professionals as being a little bit unstable upstairs. I'm very glad for your friend, she can be one who makes moves to prove there can be change, and that muslims can love peace. But the majority has proven, for now, that they can't.
