Natalie definitely showed promise with her game play this episode. I actually like Jaison and I think he's relatively sharp. He defends himself well at tribal, and I don't think his hatred of Erik's plan was necessarily spiteful, he was a little aware of the bullshit factor. Russell, on the other hand, isn't so grand. In fact, I think Russell's only "brilliance" has been that people who don't trust him have been voted out. Thing is, I don't think anyone trusts him. He's not a horrid player, but he's in part responsible for his tribe's early failings and was saved by the fact that he was one of the stronger males on the team. If someone like Natalie had tried his so-called strategy then she would have been bounced first or second.

Also, John isn't a strategist. At all. He's overplaying the game. While in spirit he's right that you don't sit back and let the simple plan pan out if you have nothing to gain, he had everything to gain by it falling in place. If the four Foa-Foa get eliminated he's got the majority alliance 5/3 with an automatic ticket to the final four. He just complicated his road to the end of the game three fold by randomly deciding to align with Russell.

Yeah, right. Maybe people would like Jaison better if he just knew his place and didn't sound so educated. He should just nod his head and say yes sir when one of his competitors is telling him and the rest of the world that he is completely useless. Or if there's no other way to confront the issue without sounding "pretentious", simply change the topic to how much personal growth he has experienced during the game--- we all know how much people respect that angle.

He got annoyed and defended himself, so what. I would have respected him much less had he not stood up for himself somehow.
