-Vote at the start (tocantins' votes were for the 2 person to not join the journey and samoa's votes were for the 2 person to be the leader of the tribe)

-Canceled tribal council and the scrambling scene (The scene in tocantins was so awesome because Coach and Tyson were so eager to send Brendan home and Stephen/Taj were like so confuse why Brendan hasn't talk to them about their alliance and the dissapointment in the face of Coach when Jeff announced there's no tribal council was good unlike the "record breaking 13 people in tribal council" as Jeff said - it was just so useless I feel like they were just trying to make both tribes argue and it was bad, Erik was just so boring)
-Very early merge to give way for the Foa Foas to dominate and win like what happened to the Jalapaos and of course to provide more paranoia and scrambling. Well Tocantins didn't have a very early merge it was a regular merge (merge at 10), but I really think the very early merge in Samoa was to give chance to the four foa foas to get ahead of the game especially the people in Galu (like the people in Timbira) are not aligned as 1tribe aliance and if they don't merge immediately Foa Foa will just keep losing in every tribal challenge and the end scenario when they merge at 10 would be; 2 people from foa foa versus 8 people from Galu and of course those 2 people from foa foa will just get voted out immediately.
-2 hidden immunities again and its located at the camp
-Russell H has the Coach treatment (editing wise) but they took it too much with Russell H. I just can't stand it! It's like the reason why the whole season is just Russell H because the rest of the cast are boring
-The "visitor" twist was just so like Exile Island in tocantins - so at least one member of each tribe can build an alliance with each other
The producers want Survivor: Samoa to be like Survivor: Tocantins because Survivor: Tocantins is one of the best seasons ever! but they can't. Samoa don't have crazy people like Sandy and Coach or maybe Debbie, they don't have drama queens like Sierra, they only have mean people (Russell H, Yasmin and Ben) and the half of the cast are just boring mostly Kelly, Laura, Erik, Jaison, Mick, Liz and Ashley.
I kinda knew that Survivor: Samoa wouldn't be a great season and there hasn't been a bad season for like a long time since Survivor: Fiji and Survivor: Samoa feels so Survivor: Fiji. It's too bad because they have 2 sexy chicks ala Julie/Darrah/Parvati (Monica and Natalie) and Brett is so cute and I don't really know them apart from their good looks. Plus with the final three (maybe) in the last tc, it doesn't look good at all! I hate F3s especially when there's five people remaining instead of just four people during the season finale - remember the season finale of S13, S14, S15 and S17.
