I redid mine as well, and have it under 100k. I dont know why I was blocked anyways, because once Anti said it was too big, I stopped using it.
But its small now, so is it possible to have it turned on again? Please? |

hmmm... yuku must have added a whole bunch to the image, because its still 250k on your profile. weird. When I sent it to you, it was 97k. yuku has a bad habit
of doing that.
i can try to shrink it even more. give me a few minutes. |

well, i played around with it as much as I could. The only way I know how to make it any smaller would be to either actually shrink the whole thing, which
would give you a miniature avatar or to reduce the colors a lot more which would make it really ugly.
I dont understand why yuku does this. Maybe someone more professional can help. Here is what I have: 
It should be small enough, but whenever I test upload it to yuku, the size jumps up to about 250k. I don't really know what else to try. Hopefully someone else here can do better. Sorry I wasn't much help. |

I was wondering that a few days ago myself. The AVI I have on right now was 53kb before Yuku got it's hands on it. Yuku made it ~130kb.
I took a look at the before and after GIFs to see what "magic" Yuku was working. When they re-encode the AVI images, they are throwing away a lot of the optimizations used by modern GIF software: Most GIF tools only encode the smallest piece of each frame they can. If only a little 30x50 region changes, that's all they store. Yuku throws that out and stores the full 100x100 pixels for each frame even if only 1 pixel changed. Also on some images they occasionally encode frames at 256 colors even when the original GIF does not. On my current AVI, Yuku made every 4th frame 256 colors and all the others are 128. I have no idea why they did that. The original image was all 128 colors. It's just more Yuku goodness. |
