Remove this ad I think for Cook Islands would have been better, had they had done Samoa's twist (an early merge). Because in Cook Islands, the situation was right to have an incredibly unpredictable season if they did early merge at 14-15 people. Because you would have Candace and Jonathan, defecting to Parvati/Adam/Nate. Brad would immediately jump to Yul/Becky. Cristina would probably jump away from Raro. The issues with Sundra and Rebecca would have been incredibly interesting, since they are best friends but are on opposite ends of the alliance.

The race twist alone was pretty goddamn ballsy, and there's honestly not a episode that went by that I didn't enjoy. One of my all time favorites. And that's not even mentioning Jonathan Christ.

Cao Boi going early is the worst thing about Cook Islands. But then again, I wouldn't have wanted Jonathan to go early either. Parv and Adam going instead of JP and Stephanie would have been so epic.

Ozzy was the most popular contestant of Cook Islands even if he's not as popular here. The opinions here mean nothing in the scheme of all Survivor fans. Some of the most memorable Survivors to me came from those 2 seasons. There's no such thing as a casual fan who votes in polls.

I liked the majority of the cast, though some contestants that got far left me completely indifferent (Parvati, Sundra, Becky, Nate, Invisibecca) I loved how Yul owned all the rest. One of the most deserved wins ever.

One of the most deserved wins ever. Agreed. Cooks is one of my fav F2's ever. . Yul, who played a totally Strategic game Ozzie who played a totally physical game. Two completely different types of gameplay going head to head. It was really exciting. Plus, Jonny P, Candance, The mutiny. Aitu 4. Probably one of my fav seasons.

There was 0% strategy in season 13...it was all that damn idol. I guess if someone cool found it, the season wouldn't have been so bad...but instead the boring, ugly, asian dude wins. Asians are sexy, how the hell did the only ugly one win? . Shows how little you know. The old Raro tribe had planned on voting out Yul right after the merge. Best case scenario in that position was to play his idol after the votes were tallied, they're target goes home, and then the old Raro picks up right where they left off and pick the Aitu 4 one by one. Instead, Yul used the idol in order to persuade Jonathon over to his side and gain the advantage over the old Raro members. Not only does this shoot your "0% strategy" theory straight to hell, but it was one of THE best and smartest plays done in Survivor history that prevented douchy Nate and Adam and trashy Candice and Parvarti from getting a win.. And it was because of this and his well spoken answers to the jury Yul was able to walk away with the win. A lot of people bitch that Yul is a very boring winner, but the fact is, he was definetly the smartest and played the game the best.
