I can't disagree with Simon. I mean I get that Lucie is the better singer, but the judges vote shouldn't be 3-1 and over rule the public unless it's a clear cut amazing performance or the person could win. People can't bitch because it's the public that decided. I would say this is the most shocking btm 2 result since Maria. the odds were 1/20 for Jedward to go and 10/1 for Lucie to go,and she went. That is like a massive upset. Also my fave of the legit acts, Stacey, moves up in the order and she is their "it" girl and probably finale, maybe winner. She's such a fun ditz, she's like the UK's Kellie Pickler. |

anyway, Lucie didn't deserve to be booted and Simon knows she's the better act and competition for his favorite douche so off she goes. |

Tonight's show was awesome. I for sure thought Jedward were done for, but thank god for Simon, he has proved once and for all that this show has absolutely
nothing to do with talent and is just about entertainment, ratings and money and for that I thank him. John and Edward live to fight another day!
The highlight of the show though was Louis flipping off the audience when they were booing:

He knows Lucie was a threat and could be a contender for top 3. He knows J&E will never make it. This was his opportunity to take out a bigger threat.
While I'm pissed that Lucie is gone, instead of Stacey, he made a smart move.

I was so nervous for Jedward. These shows are NOT about singing. Its a television show first. Jedward brings the buzz and the watercoller talk. I still don't understand why after 8 seasons of Idol and however many seasons of Xfactor people still think these shows are strictly about talent. get real. Simon learned his lesson from what happened in Season 6 of Idol after Sanjaya left too soon and the ratings dropped and nobody gave a shit about the rest of the season. |
