Some how the Pagong's knew that they were going to be voted out 1-after-another. Either hatch was flat out bragging about it at challenges or the Production staff was tipping them off. Tagi tribe also knew they were eating Rat's at pagong....more proof that there was some manipulation going on

Sue's issues with other women and opposition to a female alliance did a lot to do with Rich winning. So glad Kelly booted her ass at F4, so we got an interesting F2 instead of a Rich landslide.

But yeah, Kelly W. winning would've ensured the show's cancellation within 2 years. The close final vote 4-3 with the biggest douchebag of the season winning was a giant WTF that made Survivor so damn popular, with viewers realizing "Wow, almost any outcome is possible on this show."

They didn't really like either Rich or Kelly so they picked the better of two evils.

Sue is nothing like Twila and Shannon from what we've seen. If you noticed, her relationship with Kelly was amicable until Sue thought that Kelly "betrayed" her. Unlike most people who feel betrayed on Survivor, I can sympathize with Sue because her feelings for Kelly were genuine.

She seemed to realize that the entire Pagong Tribe KNEW what was coming and CHOSE not to play the game the way Richard Hatch was playing, which personally I always thought was a mistake on Hatch's part to ask people to give him a million dollars when they all had the chance to do the same thing and didn't. She seemed to realize that the pagong tribe would hold it against Hatch, which gave her 3 of the 4 votes she needed. Sue Hawk's speech was a counter as it gave Kelly Colleen's vote that was going to Hatch untill Sue spoke. It really came down to Kelly needing a 4th vote, and if Sean REALLY didn't vote for Kelly for the reason give, that is quite trivial but it was his vote to make.

Really there was no big reason why he should've lost to Tina other than his being stupid enough to take her to the finals when he could've taken Keith. Nevermind. Colby deserved to lose for that move alone.

Actually, most of the Pagong tribe respected Richard's game, though some didn't like him personally. It's a misconception that Pagong was a bunch of naive dolts who voted cliquishly or on emotion. Gretchen and Greg convinced them that alliance building was an unpreferable or immoral way to play the game. If anything, it's the Outback's style of moralist diarrhea that convinced people that the final 2 should play as "clean" game as possible. However, Kelly was widely known for the game she was playing, and was respected more for fighting against the odds. Think of it as the typical "underdog" voting pattern.

Without Sue causing drama, Borneo would be missing something. They needed a villain. Sure, they had Rich, but Sean and Kelly's storylines wouldn't be half as great as they were without Sue's outspokenness. There was a reason Sue was one of four people (along with Hatch, Jerri, and Rob C.) that the producers wouldn't do All Stars without.

Yes, if only we could go back and boot all those ugly old women and just simply recast every Survivor season with 16-20 bikini clad whores like Parvati. That would be a fucking fantastic show, except it was already done and called Temptation Island and it failed at season 2. Sue/Kelly had a great relationship until Sue thought Kelly betrayed her. Had that not happened, we probably have a Kelly/Sue showdown in the F2 where it would be a toss-up with the sexists Sean/Greg that didn't want a woman to win, let alone picking between two women that didn't go to college, and the fact that there were people pissed at Kelly for being wishy-washy and pissed at Sue for being a bitch. And they will cast older women every season. Casting all bikini clad whores would be a fucking awful show and create the same dynamic each time. Adding in different personalities, like Twila, Shambo, Scout, Jan, Gillian, Helen, Deena, Kathy V, etc, we get new dynamics. Not all the older women are the same. The only similarity between Twila and Sue is that they are both hicks that are very bright but underestimated.
