This show has actually been very solid for CBS still in its Friday timeslot and continues to hold up. Can't believe it because this season has been an ultimate letdown. I seriously do not understand some things they did. Like, why jump 5 years into the future? The whole cliffhanger in the last season proved to be useless, as was the whole Jim storyline. They should've just never killed off Jim in the first place...Do they even use Sam's name anymore? Because I don't think they do. And still, they need to explain--does the little kid see Jim or does he see Sam? And whoever said JLH is a cold mom, I didn't think so at first, but I do now. There was one scene in the last episode where Aidan is going to bed and he says "Goodnight, love you mommy." and she responds "Sleep well junior" or something like that...doesn't even tell him that she loves him?! I was like "ummm...."

It beat Law and Order by .2 million viewers, and led in the 18-49 demo. No reason for it to get cancelled. But the slopiness of this show is really starting to get to me.
