First we have the newsman asking why the visitors are all so beautiful.
First of all, why would he assume that just because he met 5-10 visitors who were not deformed or in any other way hideous, that it automatically means that ALL visitors must also be "good looking."
Secondly, using common sense, in our world being considered attractive can help you achieve things in life and people are more receptive to attractive people. So, wouldn't it make sense that if someone is going to send some people as embassadors they are going to send people who look good? You don't send some ugly freaks when you are trying to make a good impression on people you are meeting for the first time and want to impress.
The reporter looked like an ass asking such a dumb question. He is obviously an "Access Hollywood" kind of newsman and not a serious network news kind of newsman.
And then he had the nerve to get all indignant when Anna granted him the interview, but only if he did not attempt to paint them in a bad light and would only ask light questions. What did he expect when he made his first impression by asking a "hard hitting" question like "Why is it that all Visitors are good looking?"
I look forward to him getting eaten for lunch for being such a nitwit.
