I liked what I've heard of his cd.
Found a link to the track samples and I must say the cute lil' puppy of a boy might just do well with this very solid, very top 40 friendly bunch of songs. Evil19 could actually turn a profit on this if they did give it the right kind of promotion it deserves. The responses to the sample tracks were very, very, positive at ONTD where I found the link. And that bunch can be harsh as hell when it comes to critiquing any given thing (as in their reaction to Hokey's first single ).

Kris's album is alright, but like anything churned out by the Idol machinery, not exactly good - it gives me plenty of "heard it before" vibes.
But it's definitely better than I expected (which wasn't much in the first place - I just wanted a Robert Pattinson New Moon-style
bare-his-chest photoshoot).
I personally won't give much stock to ONTD. They were notorious Kradam fans, especially in ontd_ai, and my eyes had seen enough bad slash from them to last me a lifetime. |
