They probably threw in a generically good looking guy and lizard girl for the teens in the audience, but how much better would this character be if he was played by the guy playing Axel on In the Middle? That kid knows how to play a teenager as does the older daughter on Modern Family. There's great chemistry bewteen our 2 heroes- Father Landry and Erica. I loved when she realized he's a priest. HMMM...i sense forbidden love on the horizon! So who's a lizard? I like not knowing. I think older priest and gal from V-land Security or whatever they called it are. I got interrupted and missed a bit. Did Father Hottie give that chick the lizard pictures the stabbing victim gave him? I don't think Elizabeth Mitchell's boss is one or she'd be busted by now unless he's just keeping an eye on her to find more of the resistance...

Posts: 2969 (11/11/09 9:50 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Did anybody else notice in the promo for next weeks show that it appears the Visitor who was Erica's partner is speaking with an updated version of that weird echo effect the Visitors spoke with during the original mini-series and Final Battle (and inexplicably dropped for the weekly series)? I was just recently wondering about that and if it was gonna come up at all in the new series. I guess while on Earth interacting with humans they're able to disguise their voices somehow. And I loved the 4400 reference too! Damn I miss that show!

For people who supposedly met by chance (which already caught the attention of the attractive, young FBI investigator-babe), they're appearing together entirely too much, and in places where too many 'watchers' could make note of them being together. Sorry, but that's a Jericho sized plothole for me. This isn't quite the original V redone. It's more like The Invaders, lite.

That's the largest % drop from a premiere to a second episode this fall. Even with that big drop, a 3.7 rating is very good. V is still likely to be ABC's #3 show this week behind *Desperate Housewives* and *Grey's Anatomy*, but where it settles is what matters, and that will likely not be known until it returns in the spring. For reference, for ABC scripted dramas the current "danger zone" is below a 2.7 rating. Luckily it's not quite as bad as we thought.

There was supposed to be tension about the Vistors getting diplomatic ties to the US through the entire hour and it was resolved right at the end. Yet all the commercials for this episode had Scott Wolf announcing the fact that the V's now had diplomatic ties and could move about freely in the US

When it was still the first few minutes of the episode and I saw her in the shower, I knew it was that scene and was like "Aww lame, it's just gonna be a dream".
