My nephew plays defense (a Junior starter) for a metro area high school. he made the paper this past week for sacking the quarterback of a pretty good school.
My sister and BIL are very proud; me too!!! |

Definitely not a bad rebuilding season at all...especially considering both losses are to top 10 teams in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. And Tom Savage is going to
be absolute star...very exciting future for us at Rutgers.

Did I ever tell you I once flew down to FL with the Rutgers coaching staff in my plane? And then that night at dinner, I just happened to eat next to Schiano?
We did the Jersey back and forth.

Grad student, 61, wants kicks on Texas grid squad
He hasn't played a down this season, but at the age of 61 Tom Thompson says he's ready to get in his kicks for Division III Austin College Kangaroos. The graduate student from suburban Dallas says is hoping for action Saturday when the 4-4 'Roos host the 6-3 Tigers of Trinity University in their season finale in Sherman. Thompson tells KXII-TV in Sherman and Denison that he was a backup kicker in high school, but that was more than 40 years ago. He says he "had to learn how to kick all over again." 'Roos coach Ronnie Gage says he's unsure whether to play Thompson Saturday, but he praises the man who's "gone through a lot of hard work and a lot of pain to be able to do this." ___ Information from: KXII-TV, http://www.kxii.com

Wasn't there some 65 year old geeze who suited up for a D3/community college football team as a position/special teams player?

LDog, I've turned anti-Tech after that debacle / egg they laid against A&M. That was pathetic.
