So they'll plant another idol and Russell will find it. Or maybe they'll change it up a little and place it in Mick, Jaison, or Natalie's lap
instead of Russell.
Or perhaps if Russell does find it again, he will not win because the Galu's will actually figure out that CBS has been coaching Russell for the win and spite them by giving the game to Natalie. |

OMG! WOWOWOWOWOW! Let's hear it for the editors! SUDDENLY, this seaon has become wonderful!!!! WOW! I was actually LIKING Russell tonight!!! I absolutely
couldn't believe it!!!
OMG!!! And they got rid of the right person! Not the strong guy who usually goes, boringly, right around now! But the BFF of Laura! WOW! And Shambo was strategic!!!! I just couldn't beleive it!!! And how she was playing Laura at the end of the TC!!! Mick got one conf. and one TCQ, but Natalie killed a rat! And ate it! And of course the rat was, symbolically, Laura! LOVED this episode! WOW! I'm totally turned around about this season, now! It built to this episode, kinda ploddingly, but when it got there, it really got there! TOTALLY surprised! Of course, it won't be such a surprise next episode when Laura gets it. As she will as soon as she loses immunity! All the Galu guys want her gone, anyway...Russell doesn't HAVE to find another immunity idol. With Shambo, they've got a tie and the guys are all gonna side with Russell & co. now! WOWOWOW! |

I am merely a casual watcher of this season, but I must say I enjoyed every moment of tonight's episode. Don't care at all that Russell's an ass.
That moniker might fit half the remaining Survivors.
This ep brought back fond memories of the Neleh-Pappy-Kathy-Sean-Vecepia overthrow from yesteryear.

How easily Dave slipped into Erik's condescending "holier than Fao Fao" spot. LOL. I don't know who Laura was madder at... Russ for getting
Kelly or Dave for casually dismissing Monica's worries that Russ would have another HII.
I really think that Laura's battle with Russ is going to be her downfall. I think she is going to lose her cool and in doing so turn Dave and Brett against her. The previews show Russ telling Dave to start running [with him, Russ] perhaps to find the idol? It may be for some other reason but it did seem like they were working together. Great TC. One of the better ones. It was great seeing Monica's smug smile erased from her face and Laura seething. I love rooting for the underdogs!!! LOL Kind of reminds me of last year except JT was much easier on the eyes. |

Could we have had any less footage and editing for any jury member than Kelly. Erin-S5's screen time was voluminous in comparison. We've had episode 1 bootees with more face time in a season. Loved Natalie this episode. I felt sorry for that rat, but if she wins, they are showing Natalie play, even if it is the Russell show. Funny how Mick, who one think's would be America's heartthrob is the most invisible of the Foa Foas. I was wondering if Shambo's vote ("Russell 10-9-8") was code as shew knew Russell was going to blindside someone with the idol. Laura's "he just stirred up a whole lot of hell" was hysterical -- as if Russell did something wrong. What was he supposed to do? Go home? Not play the idol? Yeah, I'm sure Russell's thinking, "aww... I hurt Laura's feelings.."

Remember, we probably have one more good episode of Foa as underdogs. Then Russell goes back to being an insufferable bully, and we have 4 episodes of pagoning
before the Finale. A Galu endgame would have been more stategically interesting. Aitu-type underdogs are always blindly loyal and kill the drama once they get
control.

I read Trixie's PBP (Mahalo) so I knew what to expect and was grinning ear to ear through the whole show.

I thought this was a great episode. I was rooting for Russell to find the idol and then rooting for Laura to win II. She pwned them all in that challenge.
I can't wait until next week when they all chase Russell around looking for the next idol. |
