Posts: 1 (11/12/09 8:53 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Anyone else notice that Shambo has consistently "aligned" with the Foas, then votes for a Foa member at TC? She voted for Jaison in Ep 8, then for Russ tonight. Something tells me the Foas will catch on and not be so keen on keeping her anymore. Right now, I am thinking Natalie has this game in the bag. Jaison's confessional about Natalie's self-improvement throughout the course of the game screams "I would vote for her to win", so now Nat has 2 definite FTC votes in her pocket. Initial Ratings: Brett - INV1, another episode of nothing for Brett, although he did seem to have a lot of face time, when I rewatch I'll re-evaluate this one. Dave - MOR2, strategy talks near the end with Monica, Laura and John which he was semi-leading seems to warrant a MOR. Jaison - MORP2, confessional about Natalie's improvement is enough to warrant a P for me. John - UTR2 Kelly - MOR3 Laura - CPN4, plenty of strategy this episode Mick - UTR1 Monica - MOR2, I think her stance on splitting the vote warrants an MOR rather than an UTR Natalie - OTTP3/MORP3 - I'm still undecided on Nat for this episode, but there was definitely positive tone, and I felt Jaison's confessional also effected her tone for this episode. Russell - CPP5, definitely warranted a P this episode, there was next to no negative tone in his edit tonight Shambo - MOR3

The Galus all discussed the pecking order for the Foa Foas, and Mick was LAST on their pecking order. Clearly he isn't seen as any type of threat. You'd think that if Mick was thought to even have a chance to win, they'd rather boot him sooner than later? Clearly Natalie and Russ are the threats. Mick is not HIDDEN, he just has no relevance to any strategy, winners SHOULD have some relevance to strategy, something Mick is SEVERELY lacking.

And you heard Galu's plan of getting rid of Russell & Natalie before Mick, because they're better players and more threatening... so how the hell would that equate to Mick winning, if he sits next to EITHER Russell or Natalie, god forbid both of them? He doesn't have a chance in hell, because he's seen as easier to take out than those 2 and less threatening. If he makes it to the end with Russell and/or Natalie, I expect both of them to get more votes than him. So right now, Mick doesn't have the editing OR the logic to win. So how exactly is he an Edgic pick, and Russell and Natalie "aren't Edgic"? Well, there is a big difference between OTT and CP. We need to define which she was. I'm going to rewatch before I make my call (again because of horrible viewing conditions), but she was pretty absent for the 2nd half of the show as far as I know and got a big scene about providing. That sounds like OTT Rupert territory to me. Didn't Jaison say something about her really impressing him? Once again, heroic OTTP territory. Unless she is the one commenting on her change, it's OTT. Mixed with UTR, she could end up MOR, but that's only if she really was as UTR in the 2nd half of the show as she appeared to be (since X + UTR = MOR unless X was really strong, which in this case it may have been). I hope you understand, but I'm not going to respond to your other two paragraphs which seem to be directed towards me/asking me. I think they are rather rude and antagonistic. I'll be happy to answer them when it won't start another back-and-forth. Until then, I'll let you cool off before responding :)

You're the one that's already jumping on everyone about Mick. You're throwing Mick out all over the place and making sure we know why he's the winner and everyone else "isn't Edgic". If someone is viewed as a STRATEGIC threat, which was clearly hinted at for Natalie throughout the episode, doesn't seem like OTTP to me. I'm keeping quiet and I'll see if my words turn out right come the Finale. Besides some subtle comments to give faith to Mick supporters, you won't see too much of me in regards to my thoughts on Natalie/Russ unless it's something Edgically unrelated. Remember, posts are made via text: you cannot hear my connotation, and I assure you it isn't snippy. Regarding the faceshots: you're absolutely right--they don't mean a winner. Usually manipulation like that means end-game, but not always. However, TC manipulation has always been different and highly-regarded (although Stephen had it and lost, but Parvati and JT had it and won).

People going through the episode trying to point out places where Mick was "hidden" are ridiculous. You can say that for anyone. Anyone in this game could be classified "hidden", because it's such an obscure line. There's no clear dividing line. I mean I could argue that Natalie was hidden in Ep 1, because they showed shots of her in the IC jumping in front of Russell and pulling on the rope, which makes her look spunky and like she has an inner strength (note this is something my sister (a casual viewer) pointed out while watching the first episode, she thought "that girl" was peppy and had strength for jumping in front of Russell like she did). Now this could be totally coincidental, or it could be editing manipulation. There's no factor that justifies it either way.
