After this many seasons, the only thing interesting anymore is when someone actually tries to play the game. Russell is playing the hardest, can anyone argue
with that? Shambo lucked into a situation that makes her look like it is 'playing' instead of dumb luck. Laura seems to be giving it her best shot.
Anyone else on that island do anything of note other than find a rat? I have a feeling that if Russell wasn't on this show, it wouldn't have ever gone
to air.

I can't help it, but I really like Russell as a character. He brings the anti hero to this show full of fake people. Most of them either have no
personality or are too dull. He is running circles around all of them. I know he will not make it to the end, but he sure has done more than everyone in this
season.

It's not very often we get to hear about a contestant's past, so I really enjoyed watching Russell last night after learning a little bit more about
him. Thanks Sshhaanz for sharing that info.
As long as Russell is not calling them all dumbasses and burning their socks or getting shoved down our throats as "the greatest villian ever", he isn't so bad. I agree with everyone who has said he is playing the game, harder than almost any of them. I can't find fault with him for that. |

It's interesting to note that the promos shoved a guy down our throats and we hated him. However, upon watching the show, we all like the guy playing
the game and can do without the hokey confessionals. Now we see Russell really playing the game, unsure of the vote, and it's more interesting than ZOMG

I expected Foa Foa to gain numbers at the merge but I never quite expected it to be because of finding the idol without clues. Definitely a Survivor first!

I'd like Russel a lot more (I don't like him at all right now, fyi) if he just let his strategy, HII plays, and social game talk for itself.
My problem is that he's such a camera ham it makes it hard for a lot of people to realize that he IS a good player |
