Wow, twisted, someone sure peed in your fruit loops yesterday! You are a Giants fan, right? I'm confused, Polamalu is your "fav player", and yet you hate the Steelers with a burning passion? You obviously don't understand that the Giants and Steelers fans respect each other and each other's teams - two of the Mara/Rooney grandchildren married each other and now have a double legacy (acting on Entourage). If this anger is because your team is suddenly playing worse than you expected, hang in there, don't lash out! I always root for the Giants as my second favorite team, although i will argue that the steelers lost that game last year more than the giants won it. One thing that every Giants and Steelers fan that I know have in common is a hatred of the Patriots (we all loved seeing the G-men plant Brady into the ground), so you really are a confusing specimen (although your Giants/Mets fan combo is odd enough, but i actually prefer it to any of the other NY combos).
So please, as a favor to true Steelers fans, either respect the Steelers or don't, I don't care, but get off the Troy love if you can't respect his team, because trust me, he wouldn't accept it anyway.

my FIL has been a Pitt fan for 40 years and my wife is a marginal Steelers fan so even if I wanted to hate your team I couldn't. hell, I even rooted for a Giants/Steelers sb last year - and yes I'm fully aware of the Maras and Rooneys being linked for an eternity.

but when some frontrunning Steelers fan starts talking shit about my team, you better believe I'm going to respond. no disrespect intended to the true Steelers fans who post here.

why is odd that I'm a Mets/Giants fan? when I started following sports around the mid 80s, they were the most popular NY teams in their respective sports.

And I'm not saying it's odd that you're Giants/Mets in the sense that it's weird, just "odd" in the sense that the majority of Jersey/NY fans are the Yankees/Giants or Mets/Jets combos. Mets/Giants does happen, but it's not as traditional as the others. I always root for a Giants/Steelers superbowl, although it may end in my divorce.
