this episode felt a little preachy, I'm all for character development but you can get more creative and subtle than that.

I really hate when people need to nitpick every stinking thing. This episode entertained me from start to finish. I usually catch the subtle things as far as the hidden gems from a simple look or a pop culture reference.......but I could care less if every week I am allegedly force fed some kind of "PC" life lesson. God, some people just need to incessantly whine, I swear.

This is a great show and I'm actually happy that for the first time in years, there's a scripted TV show on the airwaves that I'm invested in. For every great show like this, there's like 5 reality shows polluting the network.

i don't really see episodes focused around them if they can't sing a solo

Naya Rivera (Santana) can sing, and I think the other 3 have backgrounds in dance (Harry Shum Jr/Mike, the Asian kid, is a dancer in iPod commercials).

* Somebody is going to have to give lanky teen songstress Taylor Swift her own show. Her appearance on SNL Saturday brought it its highest ratings of the season, and the Swift-centric CMA Awards gave ABC its "biggest non-sports Wednesday audience in four years," according the Hollywood Reporter.

* "CSI NY" shot up a whopping 36% this week, no doubt because of the big three-way "CSI" crossover this week.

* At 10 p.m. "Leno" fell into fifth place in 18-49 behind ABC's CMAs, CBS's "CSI NY," Comedy Central's "South Park" and Bravo's "Top Chef." "Leno" was also the only Big Four show Wednesday garnering a lower rating than The CW's "America's Next Top Model."
