I'm sure it was just coincidence that the Natalie support started at exactly the same time that the F3 spoiler came out. And seeing people trying to make an edgic case for Natalie without admitting that they read the spoilers: "She's part of a collective edit that encompasses all women in the game of Survivor." Fucking hilarious.

I know there are editing "rules," but no one like Russell has ever won the game. Hatch is the closest. And shouldn't the editing match the winner? Think about it in reverse. IF Russell won, how would you edit the season? I'd edit it just the way it's been edited. (Not to mention, I'd bill him as the biggest villain ever. . . right before I tried to get everyone pumped about S20: Heroes Vs. VILLAINS.) I'm not saying he's the winner, but there's a lot of reasons to think he just might be.

Posts: 1143 (11/13/09 11:36 PM) More Recent Posts	My original pick, which I posted in edgic well before any of the F3 spoilers came out (unlike the Natalie bandwagon jumpers) was Russell. So I'll stick with Russell. I think they're editing him exactly the way they would edit a guy like Russell if he won the game. Plus I think they'd love to have the S19 winner on S20 just to fuck with the other players who didn't know that he won. And at this point nearly every viewer thinks that Russell is eventually going to lose, so a Russell win would be the ultimate surprise ending.

I don't think in any of the recent seasons that the winner was edited to be disliked, or as a villain. I know Parvati's supposed to be considered a villain, but that's more for her manipulation and gameplay than the evil persona that Russell has.

I'm not saying Russell wins, necessarily, but the Dainty Fairy Club rooting for Mehnica over Russell has no correlation to what viewers at large are thinking. People are watching because of Russell.
