Dilana was just somebody I couldn't keep my eyes off. Also liked the woman in the first season who never washed her hair. One who sang the Bowie song.

Jordis was the Dilana of season 1, except she fell from grace earlier and didn't turn out to be completely batshit insane.
And Storm and Magni were leagues above the F3. Not that Toby or Dilana are bad by any means, but it seems like when they hit the F5 they went backwards in terms of quality, booting the best first and then choosing the shittiest person left.

That was the thing that made the show suck. They always had to have ZOMG THREE PEOPS FROM THREE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES for the F3 and the Australian always sucked
worse than the rest of the F5. JD and Lukas were also assholes and their wins were rigged from the beginning.
I liked how the contestants were experienced and had already made names for themselves before the show, unlike the losers on American Idol who all suck and fail. |

JD was awesome and Toby was pretty damn good. Hell, Mig wasn't even that bad, though he was the weakest of the F4.
Zayra was fucking amazing. I remember when she sang "Jenny" and the judges couldn't stop laughing. She was a genius who was robbed.

I loved that performance. She was killer at getting the house band to play some really awesome shit. And the bass line in "Jenny" was fantastic. Hell, the house band was about 90% of my reason for watching this show. They rocked. And the show rocked because of it. I was actually watching some Magni performances not too long ago, god, he was amazing. |

Nice to see the Magni love. I have actually gotten to know him a bit since the show, helped out with the web promotion for his first album, will do the same
with his second. Now if he will only come back and perform in the U.S.! I know that's easier said than done though.
Am seeing Storm perform in a couple of weeks, seen her in a live performance once before a couple of years ago, she rocked it and is a gracious lady as well. Have also seen Dilana and Josh Logan perform a few times, and Marty Casey from RS:INXS with his band this year, all of them were very good. :) |

First season was great because INXS were obviously serious and I really enjoyed the house band and most of the singers. I still follow Marty Casey and his
band. They released a new CD a month or so ago.

I still love this show and the amazing performances that came from this. Marty, Suzie, Jordis that made season one for me and Storm, Ryan and Zayra made season
2. And loads of great performances form the others as well. Loved this and wish they continued to try to bring rock performers more prominence witht his show
because there was a lot of talent there that was showcased week in and week out. I agree with MG that the House Band was amazing and they could have used it to
get a winner to tour with them.
