I don't ever READ your shit, Canadian. I just see your posts, mutter, "Canadian, shut up," and move on. Today I felt like verbalizing.

Among other pieces of his past, Obama still refuses to release his college transcripts. But that doesn't stop him from outing his daughter's disgraceful science test score.... maybe he could get her Al Gore as a tutor.

Every point is valid, Colbster. Everyone is saying it. The defense team will push and push to to expose as much as possible. The defendants will spout off on
the stand. It's not "Vicc" saying it, it's everyone with a brain that's saying it.
Why do colbster and nubber love the terrorists more than they love America? |

The fact that a couple of juvenile CNN anchors decided to call them teabaggers and all the mind numbed liberal robots picked up the term doesn't change the facts. |

Yeah, "unfair taxation". That's what they were after.
Didn't realize CNN coined the term. It must suck to only be able to watch Fox. |

I'm all for giving these fuckers a civilian trial, if we have to try them at all. Our federal prosecutors can find a way to get them all convicted without
using any evidence acquired by torture. If they can put Tommy Chong in prison for selling bongs, they can have these assholes dancing Danny Deever in no time
flat.
Just don't hold the trial in the middle of fucking Manhattan, or keep the high-value types detained there. That's worse than Bush telling the Iraqi insurgents to "bring it on" way back in '03. |

Among other pieces of his past, Obama still refuses to release his college transcripts. What president has released his college transcripts? And what smoking gun exactly are you expecting to find from college transcripts? This has to be about the dumbest Obama outrage there is. |

bob2559 wrote: Hmm.. maybe you should check your facts... In February (2009), David Weigel of The Washington Independent photographed a protester holding a sign that read "Tea Bag the Liberal Dems Before They Tea Bag You." The verb "tea bag" is used by others including Fox News Reporter Griff Jenkins and reteaparty.com where it is used self-referentially.
Please find a reference to tea bagging before this date. I don't think any of the liberal media was even focusing on these protests around Feb.

nomi, teabagging (handing out tea bags) was used in California in 2003 to protest handling of taxes. A similar practice was used in the 90s to protest the
proposed raise in Congressional pay.
I know you are referring to this:
so in that context, there were emails going around using the word before the rallies. Maybe the CNNers and MSNBCers got those emails as well. |

I'm a California resident and don't remember "tea-bagging" used in 2003. Or in the 1990's.
Kudos to Nomii for the cites. It'd be awesome if some of the windbags in this thread tried to do it. But I don't hold out any hope. |

So, is nomi actually trying to tell us that the tea party protesters were using tea bags in the sexual connotation of the term instead of the literal device of
a bag of tea in order to put forward their point?
Really nomi, is that your final answer? That the protester with that sign means teabagging, not bags of tea? And I still don't see that person referring to themself as a "teabagger", let alone all the other people involved. |
