Finally caught up. I guess the missing ring was worn by the mystery person who didn't black out. I agree Mark is pretty stupid to think there is only one
person with the star tattoo.

TSO didn't like this episode. The show is doomed! : /
I agree that Dom is doing a great job in this role. He looks odd as "not Charlie" though. Not so cute. |

The premise was/is great, the characters had/have promise (some of them), but nothing was really happening. Then the D.C episode aired and for the first time I was totally interested and thoroughly entertained. Since then there had been a lot of progression. Every new series is allowed a slow start but it seemed like they were finally finding their groove. The pacing was good, the focus was more direct, it would take a few more weeks but everything was starting to click... then Thursday happened! Inconsistenancy is the true problem right now. All the pieces are there and we have already seen a few glimpses of great material - now they just have to put it all together. |

I'm not sure about this show. My husband is kind of intrigued, so I'll probably end up watching all they air, at least of this season.
What bothers me is the same thing that bothers me in most time travel and "I've seen the future and nobody can change it" stories in other shows/movies. They're putting every piece of evidence they find onto that FBI board because they saw it in the flash forward. But they saw it in the FF because they're putting it all on there now. Normally these things wouldn't be clues, but since he saw them before, everything they run across goes on the board... and around we go. Same with the lesbian agent, just shot in the line of duty. Under normal circumstances what do you think the odds are that a lesbian who had a recent traumatic injury would be getting pregnant this month? I'm not great at math, but that's has to be a pretty tiny number. But now she's looking into sperm donors because of this vision she had. The vision is making her do something completely out of character that under normal circumstance she'd never do. She's only doing it because she thinks she saw it in her future so she has to. That's just crazy talk. It makes my right eye twitch if I think about it too long. |

My main problem with the last episode?
How did they find out exactly who Celia was and get her Agent Suicide's letter? And who alerted the media and why? That was dumb. And the star tattoo thing was stupid. |

2old4MTV wrote:Maybe she's looking into sperm donors b/c for 217 seconds, she was overcome by complete indescribable joy, and since she is obviously missing that from her current life, she is trying to grasp onto that, similarly the way Bryce did. She doesn't strike me as someone who would just tread into a sitution b/c the sign on the wall said "Please enter." She's supposed to be a skeptic. |

I just caught up on the last two episodes and I just want to add my "fuck you" to the writers for offing Jett Jackson.
Fuck them. This is great concept of a show and they are fucking it up with bad writing and bad acting. I saw the multiple tattoo thing coming a mile away. eta: I didn't get the impression that she was given the letter, but maybe I'm missing something. I thought it was his suicide note that just happened to be addressed to the Celia he heard about in his FF. I'm sure the media was asking a lot of questions about why an agent nose dived off the FBI building, so I'm not sure they had to be alerted per se.

token lunatic wrote:Exactly, so why is she rushing towards artificial insemination? Because she had a dream where she was pregnant and glowy? I'm not buying it. Without the flash forward, there's NO WAY she would have become pregnant in her situation. But she's changing her "fate" because of a dream, thus, making the dream come true. It's too circular and confusing. If the flash forward is their vision of the inevitable future, then explain how she would have gotten pregnant being a lesbian and just suffering a traumatic injury. IDGI. |

I don't think they are painting the picture yet that the futures are inevitable. They are trying their damnedest to get us to buy (for now) that it's
not inevitable. I mean, we know some attorney won't be on the phone with Jett Jackson on Dday, so...not inevitable for both the attorney and JJ. I
don't know how it affects Celia's future, but those two visions won't happen.

token lunatic wrote:Yeah, I don't get that either. I'm still watching, I'm just not exactly sure why. I haven't really developed any personal connection to be interested in with any of the characters. Maybe I would love it more if they'd explain more about what is going on. The reveals seem to be rolling out a little too slowly for my tastes. |

I'm still laughing at Courtney Vance's reaction to when Mark told him he was drunk in his FF.
There are lots of diamonds in the rough, folks. It's up to us to polish them. And daily Janis <3. |
