It's both types of moves at the exact same time. Great move in that it produced a boomerang effect on one of her "chicks." Bad move in that it ripped the mask off him and left him nowhere at all to hide. I don't know about Danger Dave, but I bet anything she's not gonna sit around quietly waiting for anything to happen.

I don't see how any of what you just said changed anything. Are you saying that if he said that they wouldn't be mad? Before playing the idol, did he have a mask and somewhere to hide? Did she wait around quietly for something to happen before, or did she target Russell?

Dave didn't think for a second, unlike the others, that Russell would have found that idol so fast. We all know which assumption was wrong.

In a Survivor contest, a mask is another term for a front or cover, and a hiding place is somewhere outside the radar. Thanks to his little move, no one is going to underestimate him anymore. That's a perfect smoke screen for his allies, who are likely to be viewed as having bailed him out of a blunder that threatened to set the stage for a potential Pagonging.

I think both of you are trying to say the same thing here i.e. everyone wants to target russell. aboutbreakingrules, I do disagree where you said he has nowhere to hide. Firstly, he hasn't really had the chance to hide behind anyone considering everyone thinks(rightly) that hes a conniving little person. Infact I'd say that at the moment he has a slight advantage of having someone on the Galu inside(This is presuming Shambo isn't retarded enough to actually make Galu suspicious of her). If SOMEHOW russell finds idol no. 3 and if SOMEHOW Galu are stupid enough to tell Shamoo there whole plan then I see another season of Pagonging coming along, which is not at all refreshing. Last weeks tribal council would actually unmask russells tribe and they need to be careful. But seeing how potentially dumb Galu can be strategically(BLOODY HELL!!JUST VOTE FOR JAISON!!!HES FUCKING USELESS!!!), I dont think I see any of the Galu's winning from here. But hell what do I know, I thought Stephen would bloody win last season.
