Even the Japanese are saying that he embarassed himself (and America)... so much so that at least on Japanese newspaper will not run the bowing photo:

Yes it did, I heard the story from a solider in the Northern Alliance. It happened a few villages away when he was about 10 or 11 years old.

It scared everyone shitless, bad guys and good guys alike.

And who cares how the Russian occupation turned out... we are not Russia.

But the way Obama is running things, he is setting us up for failure. If he's going to go at it half-assed, then he should just pull every American soldier out NOW.

We have already accomplished our main objective: stop the Taliban from harboring Al Queda. Too bad we didn't get Bin Laden.
