Oh God did I ever make that sad realization. I've always been one of those old-school/nostalgia supporters, but I indeed found that playing these games nowadays really isn't relevant anymore. You think it'll bring back those awsome memories of when you were 8 and your mom was nagging at you to play outside, but it really doesn't. If anything it makes you realize how old you are and how easily you were amused in these simpler times, so it's actually depressing as hell.

Posts: 20922 (11/16/09 3:35 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Also, the Wii's remotes are a nice gimmick and all and they certainly made plenty of games surrounding them (Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii this and that...) problem is, that's all they seem to have focused on. They're totally ignoring the more mature games for their older audience, which there used to be plenty of on the GameCube. If you like to download stuff, the avalaible memory space also sucks donkey balls. Even with an SD card my memory is full after I've dowloaded 50 something songs for GH/Rock Band which I can only assume doesn't take a whole lot of memory to begin with. I really hope the next gen console for Nintendo is either closer to the PS and XBox memory capacity or that they at least offer two versions of it in order not to alienate their "family" demo whom doesn't give a crap about downloading stuff.

And one of the cool features of the Wii is the ability to download the old games, so you can have all the Zeldas saved on the machine. If you can afford it there's good reason to get both systems, but it's just that a PS3 makes much more sense from a versatility standpoint. The Virtual Console seemed a lot cooler at first than what it ended up being. When I first got my Wii I bought a bunch of old games like Mario Bros. 3, Star Fox, Wave Race, Donkey Kong Country, and Mario Bros 3 is the only one I ended up playing all the way through. And how the hell is Majora's Mask stale? The concept was totally unique, if not a little bit fucked up. Sorry that Zelda can't bring joy to your life since before gamecube.

I guess being a lifeless, uneducated, immoral turd allows Anti a lot of free time. P.S. I have the ultimate Nintendo 64 system....but it's collecting dust. I should play it more. Star Wars Rebel Assault for the win.....Buck Bumble and Paperboy for the silver. And that NEW system is pretty well regarded as being one of the best console systems ever produced. 800+ games..........all classics.
