The show still has stupidity built in. For example: Hiro needs to make sure Suresh isn't discovered alive by Samuel for a couple of months. Hiro can (a) bring Suresh with himself forward in time, (b) deposit Suresh in an insane asylum under a false name. What rational writer would pick (b) for the most moral person in the Heroes universe, and why? However, the basic idea behind this story arc (Samuel trying to become crazy-powerful by gathering heroes) is pretty good. I think if, instead of doing the episodes in the order they did with a "big reveal" night later in the season, they had just showed Samuel and Suresh in the very first episode, people wouldn't have all abandoned the series and it may have gained back some of the lost audience.
