Oh God can anyone remove this attention whore (Russell) out of my tv screen puhleazee!!!
There's a line between "Camera whore" and " Just being entertaining" Russell's line seems very rehearsed and not natural so he's definitely whoring himself in the front of the cameras |

I still can't decide if I like Russell or not. The whole sock/water thing was so fucking annoying, but this was definitely the best episode so far just for
sheer tribal reactions. I loved it when the first Russell vote came up and all the Foa Foas (and Erik) were like YEAH MOTHERFUCKER etc.

I'm not sure if I like him either. Hes sketchy, but at the beginning he WAS playing a good game. Before the merge, I mean. Once the merge hit, he dug his
own grave by going to just about every person on the other team and trying to form an alliance. Did he REALLY think that they werent going to talk about it
amongst their own alliances?

^ He did the exact same thing on day one: made an alliance with three different people. And they didn't talk to each other. He had no reason not to try it
again. History repeats itself.

The Galu tribe has lost all perspective. They've got a serious case of tunnel vision, a bad thing to have an any time, let alone when playing Survivor.
They were a tribe fractured before the merge, now they are a tribe united against a single entity.
It's possible that John is brighter than I've given him credit for. His mentioning to his Galu tribemates that perhaps they could target Natalie may have been ingenious. One, he removes one more female from the game, and he's watched her saddle up to Laura and her cronies, just biding her time before she flips allegiances. Secondly, he's got some kind of agreement with Russell (I know, who doesn't at this point???) and perhaps if he can keep Russell in the game, that's one person more potentially on his side. Or if nothing else, another avenue towards the win in case things don't pan out with Galu. And seriously, as linearly as Galu is looking at this Russell/idol fiasco, does anyone truly believe that anything is going to go "as planned"? |

Galu: Laura has lost her girl alliance. Expect Laura to secretly tighten the all-girl alliance with the only girl on Foa Foa--Natalie. I don't believe
Natalie's vote was revealed at last TC (where Jeff ended it after 3 votes for Kelley). If Natalie did not say anything to reveal her vote, then expect
Laura to count Natalie as part of her all-girl strategy. If Shambo has flipped, then Laura still has Natalie's vote. Expect this to keep Monica in line
since she's smart but certainly listens to and obey's her elder female tribe-mate, although there is some hope for Monica being a bit smarter than
that.
These leaves the Galu boys. John who abandoned a different strategy last TC and look how well that turned out for Galu so John must certainly be questioning who he is letting decide is future in the game. Brett whose plan of sliding through by being nice and invisible runs smack into Kelley "why would anyone want me gone, I'm so nice to everyone" who died even with the "invisible" strategy. Dave will probably keep with Laura, erroneously believing that Shambo can be "kept in line"--although I recall Shambo telling Dave, "Eric, who? OUR Eric?" I think that betrayal of Eric by Dave will be remembered by Shambo. What's discounted is alliances formed in the "sunshine and rainbow" Galu camp and the alliances formed in the "we can't win" Foa Foa camp. I believe that alliances (and friendships) formed in adversity are much stronger than those formed in sunny days. Ever had those "friends" abandon you when things got tough? Foa Foa will not crack--Galu has cracked and will continue cracking. Will all of Foa Foa survive this? If Foa Foa can force a 5-5 tie vote at the next TC, then I expect someone on the old Galu tribe to flip on the revote. |

I still don't like his arrogance and the contempt toward women he shows. He is playing the game too personally though imo. His targets always seem to be the ones who disagree with him. He's also, imo, forgetting that there is two parts to Survivor from the merge. First you have to stay in the game and vote people out. That's going well so far. BUT, he's forgetting that the people who you have in voting out are also the ones who vote for who gets the million. It will be interesting to hear his answers to the jury if he makes it to the F3. he's really going to have to reel that arrogance in, but I personally don't think he will be able to. |
