Wyldawg, just like you always root for the alpha males and go around talking about it all the time like you're the only one, when truth is there are plenty of us around here that like certain alpha males, for example Tom Westman is in my top 10 of all-time. Not all of us like Terry because he's a snobby douche, not because of whatever the fuck his political ideals might be. Seriously, this goes both ways.

And let me say that even though I'm gay, I don't automatically root for any group EXCEPT the Laura types. I'm a huge Tracy fan, I'm also a big Debbie fan, Leslie was my pre-season favorite for China, I really liked Lisa in Vanuatu and I was rooting for Rita in Fiji. So yeah, for whatever reason, even though I'm gay, I have a predisposition for the more conservative MILF types, maybe because my hometown contains a LOT of women like these, so I feel comfortable rooting for them and I know plenty of people in my life that remind me of them. I also think they're an interesting archetype of Survivor players because they're usually surprisingly strong in challenges, strategic, silent leaders and they're MILFy. What's not to like?!

And even though Laura fits my predisposition for MILF types, she's also a unique person and a unique player, and those are both big reasons I was immediately drawn to her. Like I said before, we don't know how she feels about gays and chances are we never will.

With all due respect, ASL, how in god's name is she unique? You nor I even know the woman. In my opinion, what she has shown about herself on the show, her crazy Christian website, and her Praise Jesus bio screams of nothing unique or unusual. Rather, she comes off as a rather bland woman with values and opinions that I do not share. It's not because she is a raging right winged conservative Christian with a terrible boob job, but she does not exude the uniqueness of other contestants on the show and those in the past, like Cirie, that make her a stand out. Jeezus, Debb Eaton was far more unique than Laura, in my opinion. The only reason why some people cheer her on, as of late, is because there are a growing number of people (both on SUCKS and TWoP) who find her vile on the show. Just my two cents... :)
