Mondays are the best because they are on for literally 6 hours straight. I am sooo sick of the Boobie Whisperer ads though And while 7 seasons is a great amount of Girls, I do wonder what could have been since so many of my fav episodes are from the last season - Moonlight Madness, murder mystery, lesbian lovers of Miami, fake high school reunion, etc. How about favorite GG visitor - not counting Stan? I have always enjoyed cousin Magda, Clayton, Marguerite, and artificial insemination Rebecca (not fat Rebecca)

I think the episode that I laughed the most at initially (it might have just been because I was having a rough day or whatever) was "Blanche Delivers" -- the one where Rebecca wants to have her baby at a birthing center or whatever instead of a hospital. There's this one moment where the person having a baby in the adjacent room releases this really loud screech and it's fucking epic.

Paris apparently is upset that the Kardashians are taking the spotlight away from her.

SO many worthy moments: Blanche: I don't really mind Clayton being homosexual, I just don't like him dating men. Dorothy: You really haven't grasped the concept of this gay thing, have you? Blanche: There must be homosexuals that date women. Sophia: Yeah, they're called lesbians. Doug: Actually I'm a policeman... Rose: I know! I bet you do undercover work. Sophia: And I bet he does it damn well. Dorothy: You'll have to excuse me mother, she survived a slight stroke which left her, if I can be frank, a complete burden. But my absolute fave has to be: Clayton: I'd do anything for Doug. And he'd bend over backwards for me. Dorothy, without missing a beat, puts her hand over Sophia's mouth and pushes her head to her chest but tries to play it off Dorothy: Sometimes I just love to hug my mommy It's totally in the deliveries.

You just KNOW when a zinger is coming without them even saying anything and it's delivered brilliantly. The looks on Bea Arthur's face were enough to win her the Emmy, but when she opened her mouth to deliver a line they almost always were gems.

Blanche finds out that the artist is also considering using the other girls so she goes on a huge ass rant about how demure, how sophisticated she is. Mid-sentence she sits down at her usual chair only to have sat on a whoopie cushion that Sophia had set down earlier in the scene. I laughed for a good five minutes out loud @ like 2am when I first saw it last year. I also loved Dorothy's reactions to Blanche's tawdry love stories, Rose's St. Olaf classics and Sophia's "picture this" stories. I agree she deserved Emmy's just based on those. [takes towel from Rose] Dorothy: Blanche, Blanche, it's an emergency. We'll replace it next week. [takes towel from Blanche] Blanche: Oh, no, you cannot replace this towel. There are too many fond memories attached to this towel. [attempts to wrest towel from Dorothy] Dorothy: Blanche, please. I am in no mood to hear about the parade of endless sexual encounters that you have experienced up and down the Florida coastline, with only this towel between your hot flesh and the cold, wet sand! Blanche: I brought my son, Skippy, home from the hospital in this towel, Dorothy. Dorothy: You're lying, Blanche. Blanche: Damn, you're good.

I can even see the "glare" in Blanche's eye after she says "Damn your good" What about when Dorothy finds out that Sophia had money saved up all these years? Dorothy makes Sophia tea and right when Rose is about to take a sip Dorothy shouts out "NO! That tea is for my mommy...." in such a creepy, deadpan way Then at the end of the episode they make up but she does it again. "Let me make you some tea..."

"I'll have the Edgar Allen Poe-tatos." Blanche to Barbara: I know what a metaphor is dear, I'm not a dummy. Rose: What's a metaphor? Dorothy borrowing Blanche's necklace and Blanche says: "Dorothy that necklace was made for a dainty neck" to which Dorothy says "Yes Blanche, but I don't know Mike Tyson well enough to borrow his jewelry." And Barbara saying they couldn't go to the Mortimer Club because Murray Gutman was Jewish and Dorothy tells Barbara to "go to hell". <3 Best tv show ever.
