I want a year without the Houghs/Ballas/Burkes winning. I'll go one step further. I hope we get the most obvious result of Mya winning. Being a tap dancer doesn't make anyone any more experienced than Joanna taking ballet for years and I'm tired of it being an excuse for why it's wrong to be rooting for her. And Kelly's more entertaining than watching Joanna get dragged around by Derek. So best results ever.

The judges wanted Mario Lopez to win, but Emmitt Smith did. I'd be happy if Mya won but I think Donny has a big fanbase and many of them are this show's demo.

Kristi had a huge fanbase. Brooke, I can't even remember who she was up against in her season. Lance Bass, who wasn't that popular, and...oh, that's right, Warren. I can see why she won. I'm not sure if Mya will get the Joanna votes or not. A lot of Joanna fans seem to dislike her, and vice/versa. Joanna may also want people to root for "Team Tango", as she said she wanted them in the final.

If that was the case they had a weird way of showing it by tie-ing up the scores, and basically signing his death warrant by leaving it up to the fans. Kristi and Brooke had a 8 and 9 point lead so even if they didn't have fans, they were guaranteed to win. I'm sure the 8 or 9 point lead helped Brooke, but Kristi, she probably didn't need the help. If anything they spent most of the season trying to hide how obvious her win was, by bigging up mediocre Jason Taylor. Giving Mario higher scores probably wouldn't have made a big difference, he was so polarizing and often downright hated. I think they did make sure his freestyle was seen in a more positive light. It just wasn't enough.
