Oh STFU Erasercunt with that bullshit. Adam is not the only fucking gay person out and proud quit trying to hail him as a pioneer and that other gays hate him because he is so open for fucks sake. You have said some dumb shit here but that by far is the worst.
Can you explain the negativity on many gay blogs then? Many seem overly critical of his appearance, for example, stating that Kris is cuter, etc. Adam is being judged before much of his music has been heard, which is a shame, no matter how you feel about him as a personality. He hasn't even had a chance to succeed or fail on the basis of the music and people are trying to tear him down. If I were a gay artist trying to make a name for myself, I would be very discouraged.
Not that a gay artist has to be unquestionably praised; however, they can still be supported and not criticized for superficial reasons and for circumstances outside of their control (such as douchey commets by Out magazine's editor). He cannot be a gay icon or messiah until he acheives some commercial success, which he hasn't even had a chance to even establish yet. He has been in the public eye for less than one year, much of which he was unable to make public comments or appearances outside the Idol bubble.
Give the kid a break.
