Posts: 310 (11/18/09 2:31 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Question... how serious should we take dial idol? i know it was pretty bad in predicting American Idol last season with a few decent weeks but I never really took notice if it works well with this show. Anywho...the first pic is the main results and the second is the busy percentage page. Should these results mean anything to me?

I thought the raw votes on DialIdol counted the people using the software but the regular page and the busy percentages takes into account the entire representation of voters- not just software users. That's what I have always been told on the Dialidol boards during Idol season.

No worries if it comes down to a bottom 2 of Kevin and Victor I don't think they will send him home (Victor) :)

I just automatically thought that only the raw votes were the people who connect their computers to Dialidol and vote. Here I am, for about three years now, thinking that the busy percentages and main page predictions were not only for those using the software but a representation of ALL voters. It makes sense though that the software would indeed need to take into account those using it to vote. How else would they get a representation? Damn. I feel dumb. Good to see V/C at the top but of course, that means tweens who know how to use computers are voting for him with the software. I am surprised Nathan isn't receiving those types of votes.

Either way, he said something along the lines of giving him another opportunity. If he ends up in the bottom again, it would make sense for the judges to boot him. How would they look racist? ETA: He actually said "we are going to invest in you a little bit longer".

Keeping in mind what Nigel said to Kevin last week + you could always say that for every Kevin, you have a Russell & Legacy around, so the hip hop/street dancers aren't exactly limited either. If they go on solos (past and tomorrow) + previous peformances from week one, I don't see why Kevin should stay over Victor. I especially don't see how they would be guilty of looking racist.

Well, we shall see. In the past, when Nigel has told a bottom three person that they have another shot or that the judges believe in them, more times than not, if they end up in the bottom again- they are gone. Of course, the exceptions are there (Danny, Vitolio) but I can't imagine them holding Kevin in the same regard as either of those men. You could have a point though. Gee, a whole day of worrying today until the damn results show. Ahh.

Nathan, Russell, Legacy, Jakob, and Ryan will be the final 5 guys standing. I just want one more week of Victor to see what he does. Watch him stay and then get contemporary next week with Sonya or something. LMAO.

That said, someone earlier talked about the emotion behind his first piece and I don't agree that Victor was all that remarkable on an emotional level. He just had a stone-faced look on him throughout the entire dance. If anything, Bianca was in charge of the emotion of that piece... He makes a great character, be it an apathetic lover or an agile bird, but he hasn't really brought on the emotion yet, imo. If he has any chance at all to make it into the Top 10, he has to nail it next week (and probably, someone like Russell or Ryan have to be "meh" for another week). Also had to say: I loved the funky glasses he had on last night.
