The problem with Mick's edit on the chart is that it's too static, I mean 3 MOR3's in a row, followed by a MOR2? And no tone with any of them? Plus UTR's late in the game in the merge. And yes, it's surprising that Jaison's tone is just as crazy as Shambo's. Crazy tone changes from episode from episode to episode are a typical trait of some F2/F3 losers, like Dreamz for example. Shambo is really reminding me of Dreamz in this way, and because we all know why she wouldn't get any votes from the jury, we don't know why Jaison would lose to the jury all that well, at least the casual viewer doesn't.

I certainly don't think they've been bad or unusual UTRs. I think it's a little unfair to compare the start of a season to the middle of it, no matter what special events are going on.

But still, I don't think that tomorrow's episode will be very different for Mick based on the promos, they're all about Russel and Gelu.

Yeah, and with a storyline all about Foa Foa, it's weird that they would include storylines for Russell, Natalie, and Jaison -- no Mick. Again, nothing statistically proves the beginning is more important than the merge, which means that I can compare the two fairly; patterns indicate they are on the same playing field, and that's all we have to go on. No winner has been that absent in the first few episodes. That makes Natalie unprecedented. No winner has been absent (and clearly good or bad UTR is very subjective, since I definitely do not see how you could consider them good UTR's with two seconds of "manipulation" that's extremely unimportant in the grand scheme of things) post-merge. So Mick would be unprecedented.

Revised Visibility Chart - S19 This shows what the visibility results would be by episode if there were no Russell H (well, we can dream, can't we). Calculated based on Warrior's Visibility charts excluding Russell H. The # >5.5 and # <0.5 is a count of how many contestants would have received a 6+ visibility, or a 0 visibility rating if we weren't constrained by the 1 to 5 boundaries (interesting that even without RussellH, there are still many low visibility contestant-episodes. Brett still keeps his 1's ... Natalie still doesn't look great from a visibility perspective. Shambo really, really looks like a distraction.

It's been obvious that Shambo was a big distraction when she got so much focus on her tribe while most of the others were just about completely ignored, so no surprise there.

Natalie's still suck, and holy Shambo 5s. It's even more sad to see how low most of Galu still is.. Mick's look really good. They're very similar to most winners, especially Todd and Earl, even Yul and Tom.

But if you combine that with a mediocre episode 4 (her first tribal), the fact that her storyline was connected to Shambo for a good 3 episodes, and a subpar merge episode ... she's out of contention, IMO. Not to mention nothing above vis 3. However, the early manipulation leads me to believe there will be a Monica vs. Sham show down, and things to point to her being the last Galu standing, IMO, from the edit. Why else would she be unnecessarily focused on the first three episode while everyone else got an INV1 (except Sham). Also the only player besides Russ, Jaison, and Mick to have a confessional every episode, and a role in each episode (no matter how minor).

Granted, we don't know how the rest of this season is going to play out but look at them: Both got one episode pre-merge where they at least had a P tone, but then they both went on a pre-merge stretch being toneless MOR/UTR. The only difference is that Amanda at least got a MOR in the merge episode, Mick didn't even get that. We can only wait to see where his ratings go from here, but as of right now I think he is a total distraction from the actual winner. He may fit as a winner edgically, but logically what have we learned that says he's the winner? To me, nothing. I think he's a total distraction from the actual winner - Russell, Natalie, or even Jasion. I actually look at Russell's ratings and see a little Todd, and I think Natalie's overalls ratings look close to Parvati's edit in Micronesia, of course minus the first episode (a rule I think is pure bullhockey, personally).

Remember, I'm not supporting Natalie, I'm just throwing that out there. And like I said weeks ago, yeah, Mick is a distraction -- an "Edgic distraction". We used to think "distractions" were people like Cao Boi, Jonathan, Sugar, Coach, etc. but not anymore. The real "distractions" we need to be looking out for are people like Stephen, Marcus, Amanda, Eliza, Brendan. And Mick fits right into that category. They're Edgic distractions, and yet after multiple seasons of those people being the top picks, some people still don't want to believe it.
