Included is this new question on the application: "How did we originally find you for Survivor? Check one and provide answer below to question in brackets if not "Applied on my own" [] Applied on Own [] Open Call (Which City)? [] Recruited (By who/where)? Interesting. Not sure if this is good or bad, but at least CBS is addessing the issue, for what purpose? |

I don't know why this is such a surprise. Even though you are recruited, you still have to fill out an application, make a video, and go through the
interview process, and do the physical and mental tests.
Even then you're still not guaranteed to get on the show just because you're recruited. There really isn't any sort of advantage other than catching someone's eye or possibly getting an "in" somewhere. |

Well, clearly what you people need to do is start putting youselves out there to get recruited.
I've been contacted just through Myspace by three reality shows, none of which were Survivor - yet.

It's so they can make sure to look at your app if someone found you and asked you to apply. Also so they can make sure they get credit for finding you. XD

So lovely that were reduced to ROLES now.
I bet this is what the cast of the original survivor wanted, to be famous and cause fabricated drama just to get attention and screentime. |
