Most times sitcoms portray the husband/boyfriend as unable to do anything right by their wife/girlfriend and being totally clueless when it comes to knowing their partner's likes/dislikes. I really enjoyed that Modern Family made it Phil who came up with the great gift and that Claire was the one who screwed up their anniversary. I loved loved loved how pissed of Phil was about the horrible gift he received. It was so not the reaction I was expecting. Last night's episode was great! |

Hayley trying to sneak out and Jay always catching her <3 only to finally let her go (with the boy he already knew was there) and the kid wanting to stay and eat sloppy jays and watch cowboys <3 <3 Edward Norton <3!!!! Luke afraid for Jay and checking his pulse LOL! Sal! She was awesome.. love that she had them worried! Her wanting to hold Lily and Mitchell blocking her! Each week its another treasure! |

Loved Phil being pissed abouthis crappy gift, and then listing off all the random crap he wants.
Julie was pretty good on Chelsea, talking about being out in public with Sofia and suddenly people are popping out of ceilings to see her, lol. |

Good Lord do I love Elizabeth Banks. Looked FANTASTIC and really commited to the role. Her "I was afraid I would wake the baby" really made me LOL.
Was great to see her in a different light.
Norton was also hilarious. I can't help but feel that by Banks and Norton splitting time with each other, both of them didn't get to do as much as they could have. Another very good ep. Off to find the Lately interview with Bowen. |

Where do you y'all know this Elizabeth Banks from, and yes, she looks a lot like Julie Bowen. All through the episode I kept looking at Banks thinking that
Parker Posey had gone blonde and had aged a lot since I last saw her. Oops.
