They started doing that waaaaaay before Quinn was kicked out. They planned it when they saw Quinn and Finn fighting after Finn told his mom. Yeah.. I just rewatched the episode and caught it.. my bad. I can't stop listening to Young Girl/Don't Stand is an awesome mash-up.. not just because Schu is singing it.. it's just a really interesting combo of songs/styles. Plus it helps that he does have an awesome voice.

I thought it was just as preachy as last week's Wheelchair PSA. The "Ballads" theme would have been a perfect way to bring everything out in the open, Quinn and Terri's lies, Emma's love for Shue, Heck, it coul;d've been a chance to further develop each of the glee kids with each of them singing a song that expresses how they feel. But no, it was wasted on an after school special about pregnancy and friends supporting each other.

So I finally figured out my biggest disappointment with the show so far. I'm still loving it, but most of the season, I've felt something was missing....Watching the pilot, there was a lot more accapella scene music....and the accapella opening to Don't Stop got me hooked before I'd watched even a second of the show. I'm missing that. The songs are all a bit too Karaoke....I want more complex harmonies....less cheesey prerecorded keyboards. There have only been 1 or 2 songs I've felt the need to own. I want the music to be a bit more complex than some mediocre group number on AI.

Inside joke from writers? I loved the name Suzy Pepper, and her character. Hope to see more of her as Rachel's 'cautionary tale'. Rachel could lament.. 'What would Suzy Pepper do?'

It seems to only happen on Wednesday nights. And I can get there on my phone too. As for this episode I agree that Mercedes is totally wrong. Puck needs to tell somebody else he's the baby daddy. And Finn's stupidity is really starting to get on my nerves. I did get all teary though when he broke down with his mom.

Kudos to her. You do realize she'd be submitting in the "Comedy" category, right? This episode pissed me off. I felt bad for Finn, and I love Kurt, and thew Rachel/Will stuff was funny, but I'm sick of the "Poor Quinn, she fucked her boyfriend's best friend (but not him) and is now lying about who the baby daddy is but it's okay because she chose Finn to be the father" bullshit. She chose Puck to be the father when she fucked him. You don't get to just "decide" who's going to be your baby daddy after your pregnant, and I fucking hated that shit they had Mercedes say. Not to mention Quinn is now going to be taking advantage of not only Finn, but his loving mother. Fuck that storyline. I do feel a little bad for Quinn having a Glenn Beck fan for a father, though.
