Agreeance -- I LOVE the Gap holiday spots.� Whatever they're doing, it's always interesting. �

I saw my first one this year, the one above, and didn't like it so much.� A bunch of people jumping around in a less than Christmas-y production?� Maybe they're being sensitive to those of us that hate Christmas ads prior to Thanksgiving?

Seriously: does that say "Christmas" or a cheerleading routine gone horribly awry? �

The classic Gap ad that I loved I couldn't find on YouTube.� Maybe a better youtuber than me can find it?� � It ended with all of the dancers merging into a single curly haired brunette.� It was probably from this series, and this one is awesome too despite the Ice Ice Baby interlude -- the one I'm remembering went straight big orchestra all the way through.�

If it helps, I think the curly haired dancer that winds up as the sole figure at the end of my fave that I'm remembering is also the multiple dancer in the blue jacket at the start of the one above.�

Old Navy is a poor man's Gap, that's why.

At least on an advertising level.

I personally can't stand either chain, but think happy about the Gap and think annoying about Old Navy.
