Russ didn't tell anybody about his idol this time around. And of course the previews make it seem that Russell is being targeted by everybody. John is
going to want a foa-foa head as per his deal, and Russ will have to play it smart because now with Laura gone, Shambo could easily flip back to Galu to give
them a 5-4 advantage. However reforming Galu would eventually mean John and Shambo would be in the minority against Brett, Dave and Monica, so they're not
going to do that.

Can someone verify that the flipper was (as expected) John? Is it just me or does flipping (on either side) seem like a bad strategy here (an express ticket to sixth place)? I would rather draw rocks (even as a 3-4 underdog, since Mick presumably would not have to draw one) to get back into control of the game (and a chance to win) than to guarantee myself just three more days by becoming an extra wheel in the newly-dominant alliance. Edited to add: And drawing rocks might be the only way for the old Galu to get rid of Russell. :) Edited (again) to change the numbers (I forgot that the people tied with the highest number of votes do not have to draw rocks).

The idea of directing five votes that are aligned in two different directions is ludicrous. Like they'd say, hey lets vote for John without telling Shambo. I'd say this is the end of the season at this point. Shambo will get puppet leader treatment. A painful pagonging will happen. Russell will be cocky. Natalie will be invisible. Mick will be boring. The end. |
