Realistically, she wouldn't have known she was the boot target because Galu wanted it to be a secret so that the idol wouldn't be played for her. Both Brett and Mick had quite a bit of time when they were on the screen, but not actually talking.

If Natalie wins, MAYBE people will respect her because Russell wrote her off on day one. But really, outside of Russell, who of these nine players is getting an edit that we as viewers will respect and feel happy about?

Episode One JT told us he's a southern boy and doesn't want to be bossy (reinforced by Stephen) Episode One Bob told us he's a commercial fisherman and a physics teacher and he's good in the outdoors (reinforced by Corinne) Episode One Mick says he's a doctor and knows how to lead (reinforced by Marisa) Natalie has nothing similar. We don't know much about her outside of the game. That is proposterous to say you know more about Natalie than Mick!

I'm not sure Mick's screentime in the shelter with Jaison talking to Monica was enough for MOR, especially since Jaison was doing the talking. I don't know, I'll rewatch. Yes, if Shambo doesn't get N this week then I'll be appalled. She completely deserves it. The cackling, laughing at Laura and her faces during TC scream negative. I think Russ was static neutral for sure, there was little tone, just lots of screentime as usual.

Stephen and Corinne had plenty of episodes to reinforce this on the winner.

Well they did tell John, who voted with Foa Foa, so you know, it's possible John told them that Natalie was their target, just in case, maybe he could find the HII next time it's hidden if they use it on Natalie.

What was redeeming about her edit tonight? Yes, Shambo was comparable to Catalie in the Jason boot episode, except she is a much less stylish villian. Full of invective numerous times, nasty laugh when Laura is out of the IC, etc. Laura was calm and classy,. especially in her final words, and we have no clue from the back story what she might have done to warrent such hatred. Russell, gonna be an N villian the rest of the way from the previews. Now that he hs brilliantly won the merge for his tribe, he's going back to his stupid sabotage strategy just be an asshole.

But in those seasons, they Hammered it to us that JT was the country boy and Bob was the Teacher and Outdoorsman. Mick's was mentioned in Episode one along with Ben, Jaison, Betsy, and Shambo. That was the ONLY time it was mentioned.

If he was anything higher then a weak UTR2 then Brett was OTPP5. Bad episode for both Natalie and Mick and both are UTR2, Natalie had a confessional about a reward, Mick a confessional about Monica, and that's about where it ended for both of them.

Jaison has potential depth with the quitting thing, but if that was a winner's theme they'd have milked it more than they have. Shambo's depth is being ostracized by her tribe and being a sort of underdog, which is a viable winner's theme even if most of the time the person with that storyline doesn't win. Monica's theme is basically shot dead with Laura gone, unless it's about her recovering from losing her ally and making a comeback, which I'm not going to rule out yet. Dave's depth is being comic relief. John's depth is being the strategist of Galu, but he's not been around enough to really be a winner. No need to even mention Brett. Russell's been 90% of this season, no need to go with them. I honestly believe that Brett's insanely weird UTR1 edit is a more viable winner's edit than Mick's at this point. At least Brett's edit is original for a male, so they may just be going for the "out of nowhere" edit approach since this season's been dominated by Russell anyway. Mick has as much depth as Brett so far, except with decent numbers because of Foa Foa being the complex tribe. The season's fucking theme is leadership, Mick was the chosen leader, the editing made a huge fucking deal about Russell S and Shambo being leaders, but they never even fucking bothered with Mick. What kind of winner would be fucking ignored if he was an integral part of the theme? You'd think the editors would eat that shit up if the winner was also a leader of a tribe. Mick isn't going to win. I will literally kill myself if he does. I'll get a gun, point it to my head, and blow my god damn brains out if Mick wins Survivor: Samoa. I'd be more willing to bet for Brett to win than Mick. Mick's got the eighth-worst edit left out there. Can anyone seriously tell me five things about Mick? About what makes Mick stand out from, say, Monica or even Dave? About why Mick has a winner's edit besides having Marcus-like numbers without any of the depth Marcus had pre-merge and then falling to Kelly-level invisibility post-merge? Are you people really that god damn stubborn with your "don't change winner's picks post-merge" bullshit that you're going to embarrass yourselves by sticking with some emotionless dud of a character who's only there as fucking fodder? God damn.
