I can't possibly understand any edgic support for Mick after this one (which I post here unlike some people.... Oo.) It's Russell H. And if not him,
then Natalie. But it's Russell H. It's not Mick.

missyae wrote:Well missy you have had a great spoiling season. Thanks I THINK that the reasons they keep showing Erik at TC pumping his fist is because voting him out was definately Galu's worst move. In voting out Erk they voted someone who had his game on and could devise strategy. When Galu lost him, they lost their foundation. Erik and Laura together would have been a formidable team and would have been tougth to eliminate. HOWEVER being as the "brain trust" at Galu decided (in about 30 seconds) that they didn't need Erik I think that the producers want to remind Galu and us, the viewers every week that Galu is dumb as dirt. LOL |

Refering to the TDT spoilers i cant see how brett would be in the top 4. Hes practically invisible the whole show. I guess john, dave, and monica just have
said/done enough to get themselves out before them. However, it really surprises me that if his spoilers are correct how is shambo not in the top 5 at least?
That just seems bizarre now that laura is gone. I guess the only possible theory for that is at final 6 its. Shambo, Brett, Jaison, Russ, Nat, Mick. Brett
wins immunity Shambo short end of the stick. However since now we know theres a thanksgiving recap like some have said that crunches 4 boots into 3 shows.
How would a double boot even work if its one tribe now. In the past its like 1 tribe boots one so does another. Well defintely going to be an intersting last
few episodes to see what spoilers are right and which ones arent.

TDT tip about Brett could be wrong.

They always show jurors who emote, especially bitter ones. Courtney in S12, Corinne during Crystal\s boot, etc. Also it fits thr theme of Galu disunity, having a guy cheer against his own tribe. He was talking about booting Laura or Monica at the merge, so he's no innocent victim. His "make Shambo leader" gambit had a lot to do with destabiling Galu. |

She wasn't the only one who alienated Shambo, I'm sure a lot of it was Shambo alienating herself but regardless... that's one person. Russell alienated Betsy (and pretty much Liz when he screamed at her that one time). It just so happened Galu only went to TC once premerge and things didn't have a chance to sort themselves out. Not losing enough can be just as much of a curse as losing too much because you don't have that same sort of trust with your tribe... ALSO... are you serious? Russell pretty much threatened her first telling her that a Galu guy had to leave first before any Foa Foas... Rehiding these damn idols every few days is ruining Survivor... a few seasons of it was enough but geeeez |

Forgive if this is has already been discussed (or answered in the ep itself since I've only watched the TC) but what would have happened had Russell played
the Idol? Would he have been immune from the purple rock along with Mick, Natalie and Laura? If so wouldn't it have made some sense to play it in the case
of a deadlocked tie? Jaison would have been the only Foa at risk that way. Were they that sure John would flip?

Idol can't protect you from the PROD. It only prevents votes from counting.

sublimeoqwee wrote: I personally don't think the idols are ruining Survivor at all. They add an entirely new dimension to the game, and require players to think of complicated boot strategies and counter strategies. It makes it much more interesting to watch. It's a game of chess, and it's a leveling tool for mismatched merges, assuring a truly strategic player can still win if he or she was given a bum tribe. And while last night's episode didn't necessarily revolve around the idol, I love that Galu even thought of telling Foa Foa that Monica would vote with Foa Foa if Foa Foa voted for John (so as to make Shambo's vote negligible). I love that kind of thinking -- even if it doesn't work. I feel that that kind of complicated play happens much more often with idols floating around that it ever did otherwise. Last week Galu could have easily kept control of the game if they outwitted Foa Foa by voting for anyone but Russell, but Foa Foa correctly guessed Galu wouldn't make that move; Russell played the idol; and we all know the story. All of which wouldn't have happened if idols weren't floating around.

Mick, on paper, has a decent edit. In reality, he hasn't had a storyline all season. That's what happens when you try to reduce something to numbers
that can't be.

All she had was "I know that guy is a football player!", and then was just kept around because Stephame and Rafe decided to turn stupid right at the end. She was just kind of there for the most part. Who knows, maybe Russell and Natalie are this season's Steph and Rafe and Mick is their Dani. The editing sort of matches. |
