John ruined it by not going with the plan. He was NEVER in contention to go home. He had one chance to shake up Shambo and the Foa Foas and he ruined it.

People are irrationally afraid of the purple rock because it leaves things to chance and we don't like that, but honestly John was exchanging a 1/7 shot of
him going home for the revelation that he's an untrustworthy flip-flopper and the only guarantee of "we will vote a Foa Foa off next".
Is that worth making the switch? I don't think so. |

^Yes, I was sarcastically throwing back Phuz's statement that John blowing everyone in Galu (which includesDave) would give us an image that only a bullet
through the head could erase.

I'll bet Danger Dave has a lot of long, gangly hair on his nut sack.

1 in 7 chance or ZERO chance?
Hmmm, I'd go with ZERO and start gaming like hell. |

Don't lump that whimpering bucket of pus in with us gheys.
I wonder if Brett would actually say something if John was blowing him. |

Poor performance all around for the Galunatics. It all comes down to not having a level-headed older person around to restrain the wild thoughts of the younger alliance members. Laura has to be the most immature (and annoying, but I digress) grandmothers I've ever seen. She had no clue how to keep her alliance in check and get them all to vote together. And Dave Ball is Dave Ball, don't expect him to be the voice of reason. Russell's death cost them all a lot more than they originally thought. Sure, he took leadership too seriously and turned into an ass, but he was calm and had life experience. |

I dont think that even if john did survive the rock and was in the majority, he'd make it to final 5. He's seen these galus willing to cut one loose
the second they have majority, and he knows he's at the bottom on the totem pole and that they want him out anyways, so he's just trying to buy time to
find himself another angle, and probably struck a deal to be the last galu off.

sddorme wrote:Controversy = ratings Why would they divide tribes by race? It's sure to piss people off. But it's also sure to draw viewers in. Plus, the PROD scares people away from forcing a tie, which is the real goal. soaw wrote: All Foa Foa had to do was go to Shambo, say "We're voting John because Monica might do it. Just vote with us. Worst case scenario, it's still a tie. Best case scenario, John's gone and we have the majority next week. Laura can go then." If Shambo agrees, John's all of a sudden in danger. Plus, hell, would you trust a group that just threw you under the bus and has been talking about you behind your back ever since they realized you were responsible for the Monica boot attempt at F12? John made the right move. It won't work, but it was the best move he had, short of completely rearranging the game in some way. If Galu's plan was foolproof, they should have never put John in the hot seat with it. John, the one guy that had already turned on them once. John, who they had been trashing for the past week. John, the only person not present for the discussion. They should have nominated one of their own members to be the target (Dave, most likely), knowing that that was the best way to keep the plan from backfiring by the "target" getting afraid and jumping ship. But they knew there was some risk and so they put that risk on the person they most wanted gone from their group, and in doing so, they killed their chances of making it out of TC alive. Their bad. John's big mistake came when he tried to turn things around on Monica. Eric's big mistake was accepting the plan and implementing it in the way he did. Laura's big mistake was ensuring Shambo would flip and shooting down every approach from Foa Foa (specifically Russell) when she was the one with the most connections to their tribe. Dave's big mistake was refusing to acknowledge Russell might have found the idol last episode. Monica's big mistake was choosing John as the target for stray votes with this week's plan. They all screwed up royally, every single one of them. |

Dave Ball is the biggest idiot. He was instrumental in voting out Erik, and he wouldn't listen to Monica and John that Russell might have a second immunity
idol. He is the worst strategist, and acts so surprised when results are different from what he wanted. Duh.

John was the one that got Erik to spread all of that shit about voting for Monica to the Foa Foas, who in turn took that info to the other women on Galu, and
they got Erik voted out. Remember? John even had that pompous "JV Survivor" line when it went down.
