I think they put Van Pelt and Rigsby together because one of them is going to be leaving the show - Van Pelt's foot shaking could've been a
foreshadowing. I could easily do without Van Pelt - but Rigsby must stay.

Nice episode tonight! Even though I figured it would be Bosco that would die, the whole Red John/secretary/dead guy at the cemetary thing creeped me out!

Telling off the media during the presser was fantastic. "You really set a new standard in horses' assery.... I feel sad, you moron."
I wish real law enforcement had that kind of spirit. |

Loved President Logan telling the reporter to fuck off! I agree, we need more law enforcement like this!
I knew it was the secretary.. but I was thinking she was Red John and kept dismissing her obvious shadyNESS because we know RJ is a man. I am really tiring of the whole Red John saga. It would be one thing if it was written well but this shit pile reeks and its just dragging along. Bosco lost a lot of blood? Give him some transfusions! I dont understand why they couldnt save him. Kidney issues? Rigsby and VanPelt <3 and Jane smelling the "lilac" |

I'm tiring of the Red John thing too - they bring in Terry Kinney to kill him off in 3 or 4 episodes - makes no sense. Shirley, there were better ways for
Jane to get the information that they got - it's like taking the long way home through the woods.....get.on.with.it.
show is definitely lacking this season, but I will still watch it. Cho <3 and VP/Rigsby <333333333 - didn't think I'd like that pairing, but I do. |

I guess Terry Kinney must have signed a contract (for episode airings) on that other show.. what was it?? The Unusuals.. so they must have gave him this story
arc, few eps on the Mentalist to finish out the contract. I always knew he would be a causality of Red John. They could have done it better that is for sure.
All that Bosco/Lisbon angst lead up to absolutely no where :^( |

yeah - if we were supposed to be sad after they said their ILYs, I didnt, it fell flat, there was no basis for it.

Was it me or was Red John/the guard limping at the end?

well he was somebody (disguised in a coat etc) that walked up and rubbed some poison on the nonSecretary.
They must have walked her out thru the boiler room with no cameras or some shit. |

President Logan is a fine, fine, fine actor.
Bosco dying was expected, and I wasn't surprised by it (he was shot 3 times in really bad places). Rigsby is too skinny now. Did anyone else notice that? His chin needs some pudge or it looks really, really weak. Again - the Rigsby/Vanpelt romance is gagworthy. |

Grace Van Pelt all sleepy and snoozing in the sack with her wonderful Grace Van Pelt hair going here and there and her wonderful Grace Van Pelt naked shoulders
being all wonderful and all.
Grace Van Pelt warm and soft and smelling funky. *sigh* This episode had me from the get go.

christy1018 wrote:ITA about the dying because he lost a lot of blood after he's been in the hospital and should have been given fluid resuscitation. If he was in dire need of blood replacement they'd have been pumping packs of RCB via the rapid infuser. But Bosco is so special that the laws of physiology don't apply to him. He magically lived without blood to tell Lisbon he had twu luv for her and top it off with the whispering sweet nothings into Jane's ear. I usually watch it halfheartedly but for some reason I'd been actually watching it fully attentively at the part that is so stupid. Really this show requires the viewers tolerate too much suspense of beliefs. Some one as young as him would have been getting the whole nine yards of ALS, not shoved into some ED or ICU ward with a morphine drip. Would it have killed them to get a health care practitioner to ensure they write those scenes as realistic as possible? I'll likely to continue to just leave it on as background noise but knowing they can't write themselves off a paper bag. |

Last night's episode was fairly good although I didn't sit and stare at the screen the entire time. I figure that one or both of the brothers was the
perp as they were either really bad actors IRL or trying to act innocent for the show.
Van Pelt reminds me so much of Judy Garland but I'm not sure just why that is. |

Good Episode - Lisbon looked hot and Cho made me cream my j.eans.
I thought the brothers were in on it together, but yeah, it was at least going to be one of them still like the show, but it's not as good this season - they really need to replace Gregory Itzen. |

What was the point of Jane trying to convince Rigsby and van Pelt to keep the diamond? Was he pitting them against each other by saying he didn't know
about Rigsby but he wouldn't tell? Trying to show them that breaking one rule leads to breaking more? Seemed strange to me.

No. I think you have too many and I'm not sure you can put HTML code within BBCode and have it work.
