I think Monica is in worse position than John, although he should be next after her. lol Brett.

The immunity challenge should be pretty important. Hopefully one of those where they stand there for a long time.

Terrific episode! Survivor is back where it should be. Surprising us. Thrilling stuff tonite, though Shampoo's switch has been telegraphed for 10(!)
episodes. At least...Lol...
The Galus are idiots! What kind of strategizing was that?!? Grammar school survivor! And Laura was right she shouldn't have won the first two immunities...but then, of course, she would've been gone even sooner... Now John gets development and we see why he got all that Ep.1 negativity. TEN episodes later, HIS edit pays off...And then he gets bumped off...LOL And Mick wins immunity and may go on to win everything else. As well he could. And SHOULD. He began to come out of the shadows tonight and was pictured front and center right at the beginning of the episode, in case any one forgot he was there from his two lack-luster post-merge episodes! He's back where he should be. Right in the middle of the game. It doesn't look like there's going to be a re-crap after all on Thanksgiving, so we can be thankful for that. If there WAS one, they would've promo-ed it. LOVE the looks on Galus faces! Monica, Dave, Brett- WTF??? Suddenly, there are only three of OMG!!! WHA HAPPEN??? PRICE-LESS!!!!! And we are shown Russell making this deal with John to drop a FoaFoa and why? Because now he'll probably drop John, as the biggest physical threat. I speculated weeks ago that it would be John + Shampoo+FF4. And I was right. However, I did switch to Brett this week...as the Galu who would flip. I sholdn't've flipped. But Brett FINALLY got a teeny bit of screen-time tonight and his first scene WITH DIALOGUE, with Shampoo telling him that they're going to wash Laura right out of her lair, they played sad music under...like SUDDENLY we're supposed to feel sorry for Brett...Or was that The End of Galu music... Shampoo is being set up as the decoy boot next week and Russell is letting chickens go free...In order to put a target on Shampoo...The three remaining Galus(ONLY THREE?!? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!? AND SO QUICKLY!?!? I LOVE THIS GAME?!?) are now REALLY going to be angry at BOTH Shampoo AND John. But John maybe more than Shampoo. We saw an awful lot of development of John this episode. Enough that he can now safely go. He betrays his tribe then Russell gets them all together to vote John out. While he, Russell, stays safe... Now as long as they don't have a stupid Re-Crap, and it looks like they won't, or they would've promo-ed it(...oops! I'm repeating myself) I'll be VERY happy to watch Galu get Pagong-ed. VERY. It'll be very entertaining. Much more so than the dreadful first half of this VERY long season. And for the first time in Survivor History, I think, they actually let a jury member be heard. They actually let Eric's remarks be heard in the show and they even sub-titled them! Means we're supposed to side with Eric against Galu. I'm down with that! How could they win all those challenges then lose the game? To quote $@#@%#% Shii-Ann from so many seasons ago, "Stupid people! Stupid, stupid people!"

With control F-F plus Shambo, FatRuss don't need any stinking HIs. Keeping it out of Galu hands was important.
Great Job Trix! |

Thank you Trixiego. I have to say that a simple thank you does not seem enough for you doing this so consistently. On nights I cannot see the show it is a
huge gift to be able to come here and find out what happened. thank you. C

Trix you are the bomb. Thanks for the hard work.
I am loving this season. Sure, it is the "Russ" show but I prefer it to the "Coach" show of last season. Loved the look of horror on Dave, Monica and Laura's faces. Dave and his "bring it on" comments about the purple rock were especially funny. Galu is showing that they couldn't stratigize their way out of a paper bag. WHY, WHY try to make John a target without even consulting him. Way to telegraph were John stands in Galu. Galu may have had a shot if they told Fao Fao that they were gunning for Dave but not John. (Now how could they know that Russ had already had some one on one time with John or that Russ would take John aside and let him in on Galu's plan while telling John that they (FF) didn't believe it for a minute... LOL) Mick finally got some face time this week.... Jaison is fading into the background. Shambo got her wish but I don't think you'll see her turn on a FaoFao. The promo was a blur and I'm still not sure who is the red herring target is this week. Oh well, I'm still relishing the boot of Laura. |

Can we get a vidcap of Russ finding the idol? How sure are we that it actually happened in the time line? We didn't see anyone reacting to him having it
or, as far as I can remember, any discussion by him of playing it. In fact, he was eager to go for the tie and risk rocks. Perhaps he didn't actually find
it until somewhat later in the game.

Shampoo is the decoy boot in the promo this week.
And I think Mick is getting a Vee-like edit...She who won Marquesas and didn't really make a full-blown appearance til the Finale... She and Danni both did their strategizing OFF camera. I don' t think Mick's doing that, but I do think they are totally capable of playing "Hide the Winner" again. Although I had Danni pegged as the winner of Guat from the beginning. And of course, Guat was "Why Stepheme Lost" and how Danni won. And this season is "How Russell Lost" and why Mick/Natalie win...We've seen much more of Natalie than Mick. I think they are just hiding him because if they showed how smart, strategic, observant and well-liked he is, the winner would be OBVIOUS, since it ain't three-time HII hog Russhole. |

JediJeffro wrote: CBS has been playing around with timelines in every season. I wouldn't be surprised that they did it again. The edit "showed" that Russell outran Dave and circled around to the idol's hiding spot, but I think he found it later that day or even the next day. Remember that they "edited" Russell finding the first HII before Yasmin arrived at FF with the clue, but beard growth and swimsuits showed that he found it afterwards. |
