Do you think Laura cared, even with a potential one million dollars was at stake? If Laura cared, she didn't show it.

They go to the merge at 8-4 and immediately vote off one of their own. Then the next week, DumbDave is "sure" that Russell doesn't have an immunity idol(even though it was mentioned), so they lose another, and while they were at it, they commented on Eric having to go because he was a "cancer". Well that should guarantee that you will get Eric's vote in the final, duh. Now this week, NONE of the members of the Galu tribe even look for an idol until Russell does, then they proceed to follow him around, another duh. Then they come up with the wonderful idea of putting John in the target zone, without even telling him until the dirty deed was done, duh again. If it was such a good idea, why didn't DumbDave, LameLaura, or MentalMidgetMonica volunteer to take the chance on the votes. All of this after completely alienating one member of your tribe in Shambo, still another duh. Laura, along with Dave, Monica, and Brett are just simply too stupid to play this game, and Laura was the one that treated Shambo the worst, so naturally Laura would be the first victim of players who actually HAVE some sort of strategic game.

The first 4 weeks were Shambo bitching about how her tribe is useless and never works and just hangs out all the time, and then she cries when they don't like her? Bitch can't have it both ways. If she had made an effort to integrate into Laura's group, I'm sure Laura wouldn't have turned her away. How often did Laura even mention Shambo other than 'she doesn't like me'? Shambo can't expect to be babied in a 'highstakes game like this'. All she can do is be dragged along all game. Difference is Russell needs her and is willing to do that where Galu didn't and wasn't.

I think that's why I'm liking this season more than a lot of people (and far more than I liked Tocantins), because I don't see Galu as fighting itself, I just see them as a fairly united front who keeps making awful mistakes that's leading to them getting picked off. Fact is, Galu was still in charge this episode until a plan was hatched and executed terribly that alienated John. Laura's a bad player who I don't like the least bit, but I don't think she was delusional to think her tribe was still united. They really were. They just also didn't know how to properly handle adverse situations.
