I don't know if it's been said already...but...
Galu wasn't even going to fill John in on the plan to use him as a decoy...and be potentially voted out if something went wrong Looks like John was already low on the totem-poll at Galu. I don't know that he gains much by going with Foa but I don;t know that he loses much either. |

I find it ironic that he comments on people's "lack of analytical skills" when he's the major catalyst that's responsible for the demise
of Galu and as a consequence I predict the demise of himself.
Let's see...... they only wanted to vote for eric because of the S-T-U-P-I-D idea you put into his head about getting rid of Monica, one of your own, before a FOA FoA. That was a "junior varsity" survivor move. Granted Eric's even stupider for following the plan and crusading for it, but you could've gotten rid of one of the bigger foa threats ie. Mick or Jaison and still have enough people to ensure your dominance over FOA and numbers to get rid of one of your own at the next or later tribal councils. Now this other STUPID move. You won't even get near final 3. You're at the bottom of that totem pole of 6 buddy. They're going to let you go before Shambo, guaranteed. At least with Galu you had a shot at higher ranking. Now the Galu will be after you, you'll get voted out first if it comes to all Foa Foa left and you'll still think you're smart as shit. Making moves for the sake of making moves does not a strategist make buddy. What an ASS. |

Not a stupid move at all. He's obviously at the bottom of the totem pole either way he goes. Why take a chance on a purple rock when it doesn't really
matter which side ends up winning? Take out immunity-hog Laura and hope to go on a streak. What else can he do? Plus, it was at least worth a shot to try to
please the Foas (+ Shambo) because they had a 4/7 shot at winning the majority with the rock anyway.

He wasn't at the bottom with Galu. ALL the MEN, 3 of them (brett, dave, john) want monica out. That'll be 3 men to 2 of laura and monica. HELLO
I don't get why people think he's all a sudden at the bottom of the totem pole just because they didn't tell him about monica's plan right away. The fact is the DID tell him. THe GUYS told him. They probably didn't even know that Monica was already putting the plan in motion. In fact I think Dave told him that the plan wasn't in motion yet, when they told John about it. He was never at the bottom. Monica was. Once monica is gone so is laura and so on.. |

Great move on John's part to vote off the nasty bitch. I don't think the O.P. Is watching the same show, his argument is bullshit.

His position isn't great, but I think he read the Galu sinking ship signs accurately, and jumped off in time. Plus in the guy alliance I don't think he
felt very secure with Dumbass Dave in it.

It was stupid of John to play it safe. He only delayed the inevitable. Too bad, I actually wanted to see the purple rock in play again.

LOLABINGO wrote:X! John just raised his game in my book and I am starting to like him a little. Besides, as the Foa Foa Four have already proven, just because it seems like a tight alliance with numbers (Galu), doesn't mean there aren't cracks in there to chip away at to destroy it. Jaison was on the verge of being booted from Foa Foa, so I could see John working his way in there and Russell getting rid of Jaison once they oust Monica/Dave/Brett. I also think Shambo is on thin ice. She is annoying and they could decide to get rid of her at any point. At F5, all it would take is John to win immunity and then Shambo or Mitch is gone and John is in the F4. Or they will wake up and realize the huge threat Russell is and once he helps take care of Monica/Dave/Brett, John could rally Mitch & Jaison and possibly Nat to vote out Russ. So many possibilities. I'm thrilled John decided to actually play the game rather than roll over for Laura no less and leave it up to chance.

^^^Yeah that'll happen in fantasy land. The FOA FOA underdog bond is strong. The only way any of those things can happen is if the other FOA FOA thought
like russell. But they don't. They want the moral victory of sticking it to the smug pompous galu b4 they even think of getting rid of any of their own.
We're talking about Jaison, Mick and natilie here.

My guess that the deal was already made between John and Russell before they ever went to tribal. Suppose Russell had told John that he might just play the
idol anyway, now if John goes along with the Galunatics, not sure if Russell could have played it after the second vote, but before counting. Now eliminate
Mick, Russell, and Natalie, you now have only a 4-2 chance that a FoaFoa member goes home. In that case, do you really think John would like those odds? IMO,
it was the only move John could have made, anything else would have been stupid.

We will see what happens. Right now it looks like Dave is the person in his alliance that doesn't trust him. Monica wasn't in the preview and we have
never known what is going on in Brett's head. I think Monica goes next because Foa Foa doesn't trust her. Then Dave because he will be the guy who
becomes a threat out of no where. Then John at F7 since Brett doesn't step on any toes. It's hard to step on toes when you don't exist. I would
laugh if Brett threatens Russell and lets him know that if him and his people vote himself or Shambo next then he will lose his vote.

Well, according to Laura's interviews, John never had Brett anyway, since he and Laura knew each other and Brett was taking everything the "guy +
Shambo" alliance planned straight to Laura. He was a target anyway, from 3 members of Galu, Laura, Brett, & the skinny brunette. Taking Laura out was
smarter than he knew.
