No new songs, no new artwork or photos, a LAZYtracklisting and in the order they put all the songs was a complete clusterfuck! Drowned World is an amazing song, but it was not a huge it. This album had a total identity crisis. She should have released a major remix album/B-sides album instead of this crap. Where was I'll Remember and Youll See???? Two of her biggest 90s hits! And Rain! Oh yea, because she released a ballads best of a few years prior the assumed they didnt need to include them. And the Dont Cry For Me Argentina REMIX should have been on instead of the original ballad. Overall, by FAR Madonna's least impressive album! I despise this album!!! </3 15. Madonna (self-titled debut) If u have Borderline, Lucky Star and Holiday u dont really need this album. Except for the amazing Burning Up, this album is not a must have. Although its arms and legs better than GHV2, the album suffers from some of the same problems. A sloppy track order on both discs being one of those. It still manages to exclude some classic Madonna songs. Deeper and Deeper should replace Hollywood. I'll Remember should have been a must have as well. Rain shouldve have been included and once again the Dont Cry For Me Argentina remix (a song that peaked at #8 in '97) is ignored =( It would rank higher, but for diehard fans, something is still missing. There are some forgotten Madonna classics on this album (He's A Man, Hanky Panky) but overall, its Madonna in character and really not her style. Im Going Banana's <3<3<3 though!

Like A Virgin Yes it contains many classic Madonna singles, but as an album, lacks depth that post-Virgin albums have. Just as much filler as classic Madonna on this album. Dont forget the wonderful "Over And Over" though!!! 11. Bedtime Stories Survival </3 Id Rather Be Your Lover </3 Forbidden Love </3 And a few ok songs... a mish mash of trendy r&b and trip-hop. Best tracks, Secret, Human Nature, Love Tried To Welcome Me and Take A Bow. Too many different producers muddle this album down. Dont Stop could have been classic Madonna but the lyrics are cheeeeeeessse! 10. American Life In retrospect, not as bad of an album as people think. I was so close to ranking it higher than Music. I enjoy it more than Music. A very uncommerical album, but that doesnt make it necessarily bad. Folktronica at some parts, French disco in others.... An unusual album, but not an awful one. Love Profusion <3 Nothing Fails <3 Mother & Father <3 Can come across as a little preachy and hypocritical though (Im so Stupid, Nobody Knows Me) 9. Music Eh. I reluctantly rank this album this high. Im not a fan of most the songs on this album. Music is a fun loud bass thumper. Dont Tell Me is amazing. And I Deserve It deserves to be recognized as one of Madonna's most impressive ballads ever. The other songs are just eh. Not a big fan of this album.... 8. Something To Remember Ok, this album contains Youll See, Oh Father, Rain, This Use To Be My Playground, and Ill Remember. What other Madonna greatest hits package can boast that? Enuff said.
