Let's Flush Out The Idol ? Who came up with this stupid phrase. _________________________________________________________ Or Why do Survivor Contestants still say, " So And So or Laura is going home tonight" When they know for a fact they will not go home but end up on the jury and they all go home at the same time once the Jury starts., Nobody, No Body goes home until the game is over, once the Jury starts. |

OMG! I thought this was actually a good topic. Maybe that is a testament to my newbness. But I made a conscious effort to NEVER say "My head is on the
chopping block." I'm almost positive that I said it within the first 3 days. It's hard to get out of the cliches you've learned from watching
the show while you're playing the game.

I must agree. "The Chopping Block" is definitely cliche and must go. It's Jeffs sayings that chap my ass. "COME ON IN GUYS!" What are they going to do, wait in the jungle? "WORTH PLAYING FOR?" No, Jeff, we'll go back and eat dirt and rock, fuck the picnic lunch with brownies. |

I actually don't mind Jeff's quotes. I feel like they're part of the structure of the show. He says them every episode, every season. It's the
cliches that the Survivors get in their heads that I hate!
On another note, when Jeff says "come on in, guys," yes, we are literally waiting in the jungle for the challenge production crew to be ready. So we don't actually know when to walk in until he says "come on in, guys." |
