the trickster & convention episodes had so much greatness that already makes me nostalgic for the show, for when it's totally off the air and i won't have the great writing to look forward to week after week. i totally adore that they don't get worried about being too self-referential and just run wild with the mockery. it shows the versatility of the writers and actors.

the last episode confused me too - it seemed like a scene was missing toward the end, right before they hooked up with bobby again. count me as outraged at the demise of jo & ellen; i actually thought they were the only women that most of the female fans (the psycho winchester stans who never want to see the boys hook up) actually liked, and that's why the producers kept them around? apparently i was wrong, but i did like them both, and was gutted. not gonna lie i had a really shitty day, and was literally in tears on my commute home. I watched the episode on my laptop while i was taking a bubble bath and drinking some wine and i was bawling toward the end. i'm trying to play it all off like it was mixture of already being in an emotional state and semi-drunk but what can i say... i liked the fact that they were tough chicks and they were pretty much the boys' family.

i am just a geek over this show now, that i went online to find out about going to the next convention in LA (march 2010) and the "gold tickets" - whatever those are - are sold out, and the only passes left are over $400. not sure i'm THAT much of a nerd, but it would be cool to geek out in real life over the show with other fans for once. the only other person i know who watches the show is a gay guy in germany, and i think he mainly just watches to stare at jensen.
