She was only my top pick for 4 episodes (3, 4, 5 and 6). We knew that Natalie was Ashley's friend in Episode 1? Nope.. Mick voting out of sync with his tribe would make him look bad fast, which would contradict his opening of painting the target on other people by letting them take the reigns. This is something that has been done continually: Mick has yet to look bad at the cost of Foa Foa's losses.. instead, he's been shown as optimistic rather than at fault. Why?

And if my memory serves me, Betsy got all the commentary on her incorrect vote at the first TC. That's not being hidden, that's not showing Mick because he's irrelevant to the story.

And why some people can be so sure Mick loses because he's boring or not strategic enough, etc. Are there winner spoilers now as well as final three spoilers? Just wondering.... You could say that it's Foa Foa's story this season, more so than it being just one person's story. Russell is getting all of the air time because he is saying and doing things to get air time, he is the show and he is also on Foa Foa. If he goes really negative again is he still a contender to win? I wrote him off as winner by week two, even though yes, he still could win because the story is about the rise of Foa Foa and the fall of Galu. Maybe that's not Edgic, but it is about Survivor Samoa. I realized a while back that they want us to root for someone on Foa Foa to win, it doesn't matter who (with maybe the exception of Russell) and no matter how the final TC goes, if one of the Foa Four wins, the editing staff have done their job. I would be happy with any one of Mick, Natalie, or Jaison winning. People I know have said that and guess what, they do know who Mick is and think he seems like a nice guy who is playing the game. Mick is the best Edgic choice (to me) even though there are things wrong with his edit. I am not one hundred percent sure he wins and would not be so arrogant to say so. No one can be one hundred percent sure of anyone winning unless they are looking at spoilers, even then they can be wrong... remember Darrah? There are things wrong with ALL of Foa Foa's edits. Natalie's invisible beginning, Russell's negativity and high visibility, Jaison's whining about quitting and not caring about being there....and Mick being UTR at merge and perceived to be a boring guy... or in other words, himself. I don't mind people having winner picks that are different than mine, I do mind when others pick someone that is not edgically viable, yet they say they are right in their pick because Mick is so flat and so dull and on and on and on. They can brag all they want if their pick wins, but they didn't get their pick via using Edgic. Blake has shown us what Mick has been saying since day one, pretty much all of it is related to his situation in the game and I think it makes him look good as far as winner's go. No one is trying to edit him as a bad guy or lousy leader, if they wanted to they could do it. I think I've seen the most manipulation is his edit in comparison to the others on Foa Foa. With Jaison we are shown how he wants to leave and saying Survivor was a mistake for him, and it's left at that. Russell keeps telling us how smart he is and what he's going to do next, and then of course there's the name calling. He's like a big, mean kid saying "Look at me" and that's his edit. Natalie is the quiet Southern girl, she's learning some things and trying to get along with others, that's just what we see. Why weren't we introduced to her at all the first three weeks? I have doubts about all of their edits, but I have to use Edgic and my own common sense to make my winner pick. I will not gloat if I'm right or be shocked if I'm wrong. It's Foa Foa's season to win and there are four of them left. Russell's edit is messing with all of the others, there is no denying that. We'll just have to wait until finale night to see who really has the winner's edit this season. Please don't say who you think will win if you have read spoilers. I am getting some sense of that here, but I won't accuse anyone. Cindi can do that in December! :)

He may reward her his vote for getting him, or quite the opposite. A Jaison/Mick/Natalie F3 would not be out of the question. Russell not facing the jury would make the season's editing appear even more ludicrous than Russell facing the jury and actually coming out on top.

Actualy it would make Mick look really GOOD for siding with P Marisa and P Betsy against OTTN Russell. Mick sided with the good people, but managed to survive and win the trust of Russell. Pretty cool story if he wins. On the other hand, Natalie's early lack of visibility protects her tone. It prevents Russell's Super-N from rubbing off on her.Remember, Ashley got an N ep.1 because with Marisa\Betsy P and Russell N, she became "that undeserving bimbo Russell is using." Natalie would have been bimbo #2 at that point if she was shown. Much easier to downplay her until entertaining assholes like Ben are gone and Foa becomes the underdogs.

But honestly, the average viewer is not going to notice that Mick did not vote with the rest of his tribe, but he did and he got no mention what so ever.

Brent - UTR2 (Guess he finally stopped hiding from the cameras this episode) Dave - MORN3 (He really looked like a pathetic moron in his strategy scene with John) Jaison - MOR2 (No real thought or depth to him, just stating the facts in his strategy scene with Monica) John - CPP4 (This is the rating I know a lot of people will disagree with, I saw N's for John but not P's. I really thought his scenes in the second half of the episode were told from his perspective in a way to get us to like him some. It's a weaker P, but still a P, he was separated from Gelu's N's) Laura - MORM4 (Less N this episode) Mick - UTR2 (I'm sorry but Mick really was in the back round for most of the Monica strategy scene, he's not MOR or CP from that, in fact that scene shows why he's UTR this episode) Monica - CPM3 (Finally got a CP) Natalie - UTRP1 (I could see a 2 for her) Russell - CP5 (Just neutral this episode) Shambo - OTTN4 (Lots of N shots of her) Winner: Russell H

Corinne got the big reactions to Marcus's departure. So Bob supports the importance of ep.1 over the merge.
