Here is Sucks, the top (or bottom) 1% of Survivor viewers: We care about strategy, remember last names of cast members, have many ideas on what works vs what doesn't, all want nothing more than a crazy, interesting season with a satisfying winner.

Here is the casual fan comprising 99% of Survivor viewers: They watch because it's on, they follow the editing to a "T" and want nothing more than feel good winner

Here is the rest of America: "Survivor...wait, whatever happened to that Richard Hatch guy? Didn't he go to prison?"

They could rig and rig and rig and we'd be the only fucking people who cared.

Sadly, they just ran out of any new ideas years ago so they are trying to find new ways to use old ideas, which comes across as quite forced.
